That's great, I agree with you. To feel old or young depends on our thoughts even if we are physically old. Having a young emotion is the main factor for being young. I have a thoughtful brain which helps me to think about anything, so, sometimes I think about my age 74, and ask myself many questions about how I passed these long years? Then, immediately I say to myself, forget about the past years, I could have been dead for any reason, so, now, I am alive to enjoy the rest of my life no matter how long I will be alive. That's why I feel young even with some physical issues.
There's a quote I love from Clint Eastwood. Don't let the old man in. Or Woman I guess. Positive attitude is the way forward. Nobody on HIP is old. We are one big family. X
Thought I was aging quickly…..but got a Covid test today and both my wife and I have Covid. We have had all 4 vaccines and with prescribed anti- virals the doctors seem cautiously optimistic it it sucks and is scary.
Matey, Three years down the line, five variants of Coronavirus later and I still haven't had one. The reason for this is that every morning I drink a large mug of black coffee in which I add a small tot of Brandy - the virus germs get killed off in the fumes !!! Might I suggest that both you and your good wife try the same !!!
I'm 68. Me and the significant other caught Covid some weeks ago. To be honest I've had worse hangovers.
Hmmmm - nearly six years ahead of you. Have scars on my lungs from (a) Liquid Petroleum Gas fumes, (b) Five Pulmonary Emboli, (c) COPD, (d) Pulmonary Fibrosis, hence the reason I was shielded.
Nobody should think that he or she is old. If you think positively everything gradually comes positive. Of course, I am not talking about real physical health issues, I talk about emotional feelings, and optimistic thoughts.
True, but hard to practice when you have had 20 surgeries and procedures trying to keep yourself alive. I slug on though.
