...but I don't care. Today I met my new seminar tutor. His surname is Woodcock. When he introduced himself as Mr. Woodcock, I just totally cracked up. I almost had tears in my eyes coz I laughed so hard. Anyone else find his surname even slightly amusing, or am I the only one with an incredibly juvenile sense of humour?
He's in his early 30's, I'd say. He blushed slightly and he looked like he was gonna start laughing as well, but obviously controlled himself a lot better than I did. I'm thinking his seminars are gonna be hilarious.
This is great. Making people feel like they are strange because of their name is one of my favorite pasttimes. (seriously)
I wouldn't have been able to help myself. I'm sure he gets shit about it all the time and he's used to controlling himself about it. I sure would have laughed though.
lord i wolda had to make all sourts of innapropriate comments =) . and yes....i can't spell....so get over it!! lol
I doubt it would be very splintery though, would probably be worn rather smooth. I still don't see the humor in the name though.
I would have been like beavis and butthead...... uhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhuh he said "wood-cock" huhuhuhuhuhuhh
my husband has a client by the name of Prettyontop. when submitting the paperwork to the central office, it apparently produced convulsions of hilarity and other descriptive surnames, such as Bigintheback and Uglyallover.
