i'll tell a little story --i was the only guy on a crew of girls---nurses and such--and they all wanted sex but unlike me they couldnt go bar hopping and have one night stands--so i sexed up a few of them and they all wanted it a secret---so i tried to hold hands crossing the street with one of them and she pulled away---and im like i just i was just up in you wats up with this?---i like it but i dont want the others to think im a slut---so there you go---peer pressure-----btw these were all "good girls" college grads and such---i was used to sluts but the good girls were just as nasty--but secret---what a turn on---hahahahahahah
I have no problem calling a guy who sleeps with a different girl every night a slut. And I feel many of us go through phases. There was one year where I might have had over twenty partners, but there was also a three-year period where I only had one. Does that make me a slut? No, it just makes me sexually needy, perhaps.
Not sure how old most of you are on here, but as a woman of 50 yrs old, I probably have very different opinions to todays men and women. I have been married for 30 years and although I had a few lovers before I married, i have been faithful since I met my husband. I was always brought up to believe that "Good girls didn't". I don't really believe that, but I do feel that there are double standards for men and women and I don't think it is becoming for a girl to sleep with a different man every week. Also men and women have very different ideas as to what is acceptable and I have seen so many men, who are happy to sleep with "Any girl" who will let them, but wouldn't want a relationship with her, Often because she "slept with me so easily". Double standards? Absolutely!! Still with us?...........Oh yes!!!
Yes because that's what women, particularly promiscuous women, want. Pity. The solution is simple. It's a three step process. 1. Stop treating women as equals. They aren't. In most ways they are superior to men. If you don't believe me, try child birth. Hell try enduring the pain of childbirth. Shove a water hose up your urethra and pump a few ounces into your abdomen everyday for nine months. Add gelatin and then try to expel the entire mass at once. Get the picture? 2. If you're in a monogamous relationship and you can't give her orgasms, find out why. Together. And then fix it. Your issue, her issue, nobody's issue, sex is important to pretty much everyone and being unfulfilled sucks. NOT working on issues like this simply demonstrates that you value neither her feelings nor her happiness. 3. If there's something you can't talk about, TALK ABOUT IT. That's called intimacy and it's the most vital part of communication. And communication is the most vital part of a relationship. Usually if she doesn't feel special to you she doesn't feel special at all. That unfortunately is often the flaw in the female psyche, just as the flaw in the male psyche is often wrapped snugly around the penis. I know this thread is almost a year old and it specifically addressed the subject of heavier women becoming the norm. A woman's weight has zero to do with any of these things. Often, outside of her own mind it has zero to do with anything.
thank you for finally saying that. guys always argue and say they are stronger. hm, well not strong enough to push out a freakin baby.
It's not hard for women to become sluts. Guys aren't very picky, which means when a girl sticks to one guy it shows she's got a lot of self control. If a guy can get a ton of women, it's usually based on his personality considering women are more picky than guys. That's my take on it anyway.
Men like being unequal too. Both genders can take pride in their superiority and also be inspired, engrossed, turned on, etc. by the ways in which the other sex is superior. I think gender is a rather nifty thing really, and that all the differences, as much clashing they can cause just make them even cooler =D
You're welcome. It's not just what I believe, it's what I've taught my children and my students. I don't have to participate in feminist debates because, particularly here, they are polarized by misogyny on one side and man-hating on the other. My conscience is clear. You all can do what you like.
I doubt it. So long as there are stupid people, especially stupid people in power, society will not grow up, unfortunately.
Sure, there is a double standard. A guy can sleep around and be called a stud. A girl sleeps with like 80 or 90 guys, and she instantly gets labeled a slut. The definition of a whore, is a girl who will sleep with anyone. A Slut is defined as someone who will sleep with anyone...except you. Both are applicable to a girl who slept with your boyfriend. Let's be real now. I have a guy friend who sleep with anything that has a hole AND can say his name. We call him a slut, but he wears it with pride. It's disgusting. None of us would ever date a woman that he has contaminated, and we warn all of our female friends/family about him in advance. He uses the shotgun approach to picking up women. He whistles and makes vulgar comments and eventually he comes across girls that responds positively to those advances...sluts. Sure, the word "slut" often gets mis-used. But, that doesn't mean that you aren't a slut. I don't care what you call it. There are people who you may find attractive, but would never sleep with due to their track record, or promiscuity. In this age of disease, there is a real risk to casual sex and multiple partners. Categorize them however you want, but if you think you could catch an STD from a person, you call them a slut, skank, whore, tramp, cum dumpster, trashy, bimbo, etc. If you're looking for a long term relationship with a faithful, connected, loving partner, would you consider someone with 100+ notches on their headboard? I think not.
The reason guys can't/don't "push out a freakin baby" is not that they lack the strength or pain tolerance, but that they DON'T HAVE A WOMB AND CAN NOT BECOME PREGNANT IN THE FIRST PLACE. ??? It's a ridiculous thing to use in saying how women are "stronger" or better than men. Women give birth because, well, that's what women do. We have the neccessary organs, and the inate compulsion to fall pregnant sooner or later. I love being a women. I love women. I love men. I'm sure that if "I" was a man I'd love being a man. I think men and women are profoundly unequal, and very different, and I wouldn't have it any other way. These days there is a strong tendency to wish for there to be no distinctions between genders, races, relgions, cultures etc. I think that is tragic - differences between people are glorious and beautiful.
