i love the dark look i been thinking of making mine dark like yours,but i haven't decided if i would look good with dark dreads hears a pick what you all think? did you use black dye? dont minde the pic its just the newest i have off a web cam so i may not look the happyest
I used dark brown dye, but it turned out black on the locks and brown on the tips (strange). @ Canaidain: I would paint them that dark, maybe light brown?
im not to sure about the hole dyeing thing caus if i dont like it im going to have a really hard time matching my natural color which is what you see in the pic and its werid caus i have brown hair but it likes to go blond in dreads its kinda really odd.
i'd say don't do it. my hair is dumb too and it's naturally a dark sandy blonde, but as it grows out and the sun hits it it gets lighter and lighter. So i have what some may call "spider hair" because i have dark roots and the rest is light...so it looks like a spider? i thought about dying mine brown as well or orangey red or a lighter blonde, but my dreads are meant for me to "not give a fuck" about my hair...dying would kinda defeat my motto....so that made my decision for me.
if you havent ever dyed your hair dont do it!!!! especally if your hair is blonde, you will never get that colour back, and dying is such a hassel. I went blonder and im stuck on what to do now as I dont want to dye my hair again but it looks silly. but when it comes down to it, its all up to you, we cant make your mind up for you. World peace your locks are something specail! i love em' and I love the tips now that they are pointy!
