    Since its warm weather and I ditched shoes months ago, barefoot driving is nice and also necessary. It's kinda cool when you're driving somewhere on an errand to suddenly think yup barefoot again.

    i drive barefoot sometimes, i usually wear shoes though. i find that if i drive barefoot for long trips, my toes get sore because instead of pushing with the whole foot like when wearing shoes, i bend my toes to do it.

  12. exercise those toes! Hup! Thrup! Trup!

    Yep i drive barefoot too... I find i can use the controls alot easier barefoot. Especially for any low speed maneuvres like parking, clutch control becomes so much better. I remember one of my friends in college took her driving test barefoot!

    I usually have circulation problems when driving a long trip with shoes on. No problem when I do it barefoot.

    i drive cycle and motor-cycle barefoot.
    positive vibes:

    • more control over pedals of car and bike;
    • wind in your toes riding the motorbike;
    • shoelaces won't get tangled in the gear shift pedal;
    • increased awareness of your vulnerability resulting in vigilant riding ;
    • after riding in mud you don't have to clean your boots;
    • i can shift gears of my bicycle using toes;
    • no shoe harassment when going to the sea to take a bath ;
    • children stare at you :mickey:
    bad sides:

    • more risk from bike accidents;
    • some things like putting your foot on the ground are not advisable;
    • police men are puzzled because they feel there is something wrong going on but no law supporting their instinct;
    • i dont want to think about the eventuality of the kickstart pedal hitting my naked sole if the engine ever backfires. two stroke engines are worse, though.
    • also i wonder what the guys of the insurance company will be going to say if i'll ever be involved in a car or bike crash while driving barefoot.
    forgot something ?

    I always drive barefoot, fine control is much better.
    I have also changed the pedals on my cycle so i can ride it bf.
    It came with those "bear trap" pedals, which irritated after a few miles.
