I don't own a cell phone.

i love my phone. it would be impossible to talk to the person i do the most without it because long distance charges with home phones. i also love it because of caller groups you can make and i know if its someone from work just by the ringtone so i know not to pick it up. texting is also very convenient

 

Where I am (Ireland) mobile phones are cheaper than landlines so everyone has one from the oldest person to the youngest, 8ish, but everyone sends text messages so it's not so intrusive. What bug's me the most is those who never keep in contact even though they have a phone. one friend told me that he sees it in his job (works in an rich fat old wrinkly peoples gym, Imagen having jewelery just for when you train) where people deliberately will make themselves unavailable because important people make others wait! and I see that attude spreading. If you give your number out you should turn on your phone once a day it's not tricky!
