I just went to a news website that wanted me to answer a poll about whether I approve of Rolling Stone Magazine's decision to put the Boston bomber's pic on their cover. Well, magazines usually put people on the covers when they're in a big news story, whether it's for something good or bad, and everybody already knows what this motherfucker looks like, so I don't give a shit if his pic is on there or not. But they didn't give me an "I don't give a damn" option in the poll, which pisses me off. I think we need to stand up for our right to be apathetic about unimportant things. Agree?

Yea I heard a bunch of shit about the cover of Rolling Stone last night... how some stores are refusing to carry that issue and how it they glamorized him- made him look like a rock star and then say "hmm, but we called him a monster.. how are we promoting him?"...
anyways, I don't care about that.

and I don't care about...hmmm... I don't care about most things I hear about on the news expect as far as to try to read between the lines and figure out WHY the news is covering what they chose to cover...
oh and I don't care about snowden anymore that much. I don't care if he goes to Russia or what the Russians know or if the U.S. will boycott the winter Olympics there.

They were saying on tv how they made it look like a "glamour shot" if you remember what glamour shots were... or even had them there... but yeah, made him look all nice- nicer than usual. But, yea, I don't see the big deal. I don't think it's going to "glamorize terrorism" and turn normal ppl into terrorists.

 

I really don't see how the cover makes him look nicer than usual. I mean, we've all seen that picture of him before, and that The Bomber part is pretty huge.
But hey, people like drama and making issues out of nothing special.
