today i failed an exam... basically on purpose. i didn't know the answer to the question, because i hadn't revised, so instead i wrote a story on the answer paper, four sides! the exam was Analytical and Historical Studies of Music, and the story was about a magical tree in an enchanted forest, to cut a long story short, the tree invents music, teaches Johann Sebastian Bach how to sing, and gives birth to Syd Barrett.... this may determine me getting into the next year or not, although i don't want to be at university anymore. was a good story though
wow! I hope you get the story back man! Just remember God is in control. Whatever happens was meant to happen(that's what i believe anyway). Why don't you wanna stick at uni jazman?
Maybe you'll get lucky and they'll publish the story Hope uni aint t0o0o bad man!...but if you dont like it you dont like it, gotta do what you feel is right
Well if someone abducted, raped, tortured and killed you, I assume you'd say god was in control there too? Still not much consolation really though, huh? Jaz - don't you have someone at uni you can talk over how you feel with? Or do you just want out?
if god is in control then he isn't the all knowing all powerful god we believe him to be.....therefore there cannot be a god of that description if thats what you believe. sorry ill stop my rant at philisophical arguments against god.... jaz-i think thats great, we should all do that at one point in our life. whats uni for other than expressing yourself. ride with it, itll all be alright! namaste x x x
That sounds like my mock history exam I hope it all turns out ok for ya... I know it will one way or another Love Clairexxxx
I took a couple of packets of marzine travel sickness tablets in one of my o-levels and watched a tree growing out of my leg ...
haha yeah Dok there is someone i can talk to, as i don't want to just quit now, i might as well finish the year. i have to talk to my tutor, but i'm scared cos i haven't done any work
you sound like a proper first year student... don't worry little bro, it'll all be alright one way or the other...
There's a third side to that triangular argument, and that's if god exists and he is all knowing and all powerful, then the existence and persistence of suffering suggests he's not good. Of course, there's also a get out clause, and that's that life is all one big interwoven fabric, a great mystery and a great test, and that we can never know the reasons behind a god's actions. Afterall, we're simply not that important....
He shalt not pluck his own eyes out. Doth one not know how much that wouldeth cause pain! Besides how would he ever see Jeremy's dreads again with no eyes? Or Marks curly locks, or...
Once again this is a valuable insight into other people's university lives. I can now go into my university course even more mentally prepared now.
