Thank you. If I hadn't gotten even STRONGER in our early years married, it would be a LOT worse. My FIL actually tried to start a fight with me, once, over a Relix magazine I had on the back of the toilet, that had a story about Deadheads in Prison for minor weed offences. And an other time about the state of my "filthy house." IT'S MY HOUSE, OLD MAN! It hasn't' yet occured to him that there are womyn who actually have LIVES that don't revolve around cleaning. I spend time with my kids, I have friends, I have internet friends, I run a business (which is a problem with him, as I should either just "be home with the kids" (translation: "clean your house, sent the kids out, so they don't mess it up.")n I read, I have a library card and am addicted to Amazon and Borders Books, as well as a great collection of Zines. No, I should just clean and cook for Bear.

I've really had to put my foot down on a number of occasions. Their older son (Bear's brother) died in an accident, and it was far from his first "near death accident." Lots of history here, I'd really rather not go into, or my head will explode. I actually get along with my MIL, but that Old Man, aughghghgh. And, he's rude to my daddy, too. My dad sent money to a "healer" in South America when my FIL was diagnosed with Cancer, and the Old Man got better, and my daddy didn't even get a "Thank you." in fact, he tried to start a fight with my daddy the next time he saw him. The man has issues, which, if they haven't been resolved in the last 78 years, won't be now. *sigh*

My strength is being used to protect my kids and even my dh, as much as he will let me.

Rather let me switch genders there, seeing as I'm a girl. If my ex(whom I had to live with because of shitty leases) brought some bitch home and I had to tolerate their breeding noises, I'd be out bringing home the whole local college football team for a gangbang. Let's see him tolerate that?!

 

Yes, he was just a troll but there are some ladies in the thread that admit to similar happenings. If this stuff didn't acutally happen from time to time, it wouldn't have been a good troll and folk like Jerry Springer would be out of a job.

 

I am going to be the first to sign that one. It is time to cut the cord and live our own lives without them dictating what we should or should not be doing every moment! Plus his mom is psycho and needs professional help.

 

yeah, the last time my boyfriend asked me to play WoW with him, I sent him this thread. He has not asked me since. I don't care what he does with his time, but I'm not wasting mine on there, especially since I don't enjoy it.

lol, i am doing that as I type this. Dh is always asking me to play WoW, Everquest or some other game he's off his rocker for. I can't stand it!!!!
