A recent survey of 1000 registered republicans found that 75% of them believe that there were wmd in Iraq and that Saddam was behind 9/11. This poll was taken last week. This leads me to conclude one thing - they have clearly drank the Koolaide and cannot read nor hear. How many different independent inquiries have said that these things are 100% not true, yet 75% of republicans / bush supporters still believe that these things are true? its pretty sad

I personally tend to hold surveys of such a small quantity in very low standing. That survey could have been biased in many ways.

If we do suppose that it is true, then oh well... most people are not informed enough in either direction anyhow.
