Obviously you are an acid virgin. If you have ever tried LSD, you would know for yourself that isn't about escaping reality (in fact, you'd have a hard job doing that, my friend - HO HO!!) You say "soul searching" - but I wonder.. what exactly do you think "tripping" is?? (when done responsibly and used as a tool to the internal divinity and reformation of charater of course, I'm not referring to those who think "it's cool to take acid" and drop tabs for the "colours")?? This isn't your run-of-the-mill alcohol drink, my friend - OH NO!!! I'm sorry but your input on coated brain's feedback looks like inexperienced bullshit that lacks credibility on many levels.. but that's not the only part of your post that boasts immaturity.

My name says PsyGrunge, yet I don't like Grunge anymore and have developed and changed my taste in music since this username was created. There are many usernames on here that do not reflect the actual personality traits of the users themselves.. they are just usernames, and you are obviously an extremely shallow minded person for your idiotic feedback on coated brain's name!! That's peppered with self opinionated bile.

Look, "guest" - if you're going to come in here with a chip on your shoulder and start making ill-conceived accusations on the basis of what people decide to call themselves on a forum dealing in many alternative issues, then you should be prepared for people, in turn, to disrespect yourself - and not take anything you say into account. Give me one good reason why your single opinion is any more valid than anyone else's?? ..and then you have the fucking AUDACITY to type your opinion, and end it with "case closed" - as if that is all that matters. Well, I'm sorry to burst you bubble, mate - but that's not the way the ball rolls round here.

ANYWANY, if this person has tripped enough on acid to familiarise himself with the state of LSD inebriation, then he probably has witnessed "God" in it's full crystalline fractal force.. official religions are by NO WAY the only way to see universal energy.. and religion is the opposite of what people perceive it to be.. as the World reflects, religion and the internal combustion engine have led mankind to their doom.

    LMAO

Come on, spare me that bullshit.

Tell me what parts of my posts boasts immaturity. Don't just allude to shit you can't point out. Maybe I came off a little aggressive. You call it immaturity, I call it having no patience for stupidity.

Far as LSD goes, do I have to smoke crack to know I would bug the fuck out if I did?? Do I have to shoot dope to know I will be totally out of sync with the real world??

And you really just sat there and typed up a defense of someone experiencing God when they are obviously an atheist. Think about that for a minute.

Lastly, I could care less about your insults to religion. I don't represent any one of them shits and the only one I could bring myself to respect was Buddhism only because Buddha himself told people to not take his word for it and see the Truth for themselves. The other ones except maybe Hinduism say "follow these scriptures or God will hate you so just make your life easier by obeying what we say." I agree religion is one of the main reasons mankind is impending doom. Me being a "guest" has nothing to do with anything. You mean to tell me my opinion holds no weight simply because I haven't made 1,000 more posts or been here long enough to make friends with anyone??

Nope, I mean to tell you that you are obviously a new member with a huuuuge chip on your shoulder.. trying to get your point across by ending it with something that suggests you think your opinion is the be all and end all of the discussion is the wrong way to go about things if you expect anyone to take into account a word you say. Nothing to do with post count. I think you'd better read what I typed again, because it seems you've not clocked on to anything I was trying to get across.

I don't think I need to tell you which part of your input boasts immaturity when you respond with something that contains "Tell me what parts of my posts boasts immaturity" and "Far as LSD goes, do I have to smoke crack to know I would bug the fuck out if I did?? Do I have to shoot dope to know I will be totally out of sync with the real world??" in the same post. You come across as the type who classes every psychoactive substance as the same, cliche "drugs" without even giving thought to the crucial differences that lie between. There's no need for me to even try answering your "far as lsd goes" question - as it is of complete irrelevance.

It seems you have some serious issues and need a place to vent your egotistical streak; may I suggest you find somewhere else.

May I suggest you get the fuck off my dick since you obviously had no rebuttal.

I could wipe my ass with who the fuck you think you are. End of the day I made points you had no argument against except "you don't know what it's like to be on LSD" as if the fact I DON'T have any interest in taking a hallucinogen makes me stupid.

Obviously the fact I ended my post with "case closed" done hurt your feelings especially since you haven't said anything reopen it.

Let's summarize my "case closed" post:

The Observer Effect in quantum physics implies reality is altered by Consciousness. Consciousness is often used as a synonym for God by spiritual people. Science uses the word Source, which is also a synonym for God.

    True or false? True.

Science gets disproved all the time when newer developments in science comes along and point out flaws in previously believed scientific theories and/or assumptions.

    True or false? True.

God has never been disproved in any way.

    True or false? True.

The Big Bang Theory sets out to explain where everything originated from but has no answer to where that so called tiny dot came from that somehow exploded into pure phenonemon.

    True or false? True.

    LSD is a hallucinogen.

    True or false? True.

Hallucinogens make people hallucinate which is a form of escaping reality.

    True or false? True.

    Case fuckin closed.

Not necessarily false, but debatable. The Oberver Effect (assume you're talking about the QM physics version, not the psych version which is different) is one interpretation of the implications of QM, but not one that all physiciscts share. New Agers have taken this ball and run with it to the point of arguing that we're each essentially gods, shaping reality with our own observations. I find that hard to believe.

Unfortunately, scientists are less excited about Miller's research than they were in the 1950's when it was done. The problems are: (1) scientists no longer believe the early atmosphere on earth resembled the contents in Miller's flask, (2) amino acids are just the raw material; saying that they will inevitably lead to life is like saying a pile of bricks will inevitably lead to a house. Amino acids are a long way from the specialized molecules that life requires.

I found it hard to believe as well at first, and I'm just recently developing a grasp on it. David Icke explained it pretty well, at least in my opinion. Everything is made out of atoms and when you observe an atom in itself, it mostly appears to be empty space. Everything in the entire Universe is made up of atoms, therefore everything is essentially the same. It's just our perceptions that makes things appear the way they are. A collective perception can make any illusion appear to be reality.

God didn't come from anywhere, and neither did the Universe. What I mean by this is there was no point of creation for either. Actually, many people with experience in deep thinking/meditation argue that they are the same. I don't necessarily agree with that but I am in position to discredit it either.

Matter and energy are the building blocks of the Universe. Neither can be created nor destroyed, they simply change form. There is absolutely no reason to believe this Universe was once a tiny dot. Everything that is here now has always been here. The only thing that gets "created" are events and even those aren't really created because both the past and the future are illusions as the former doesn't exist anywhere outside the mind and the latter is an anticipated event that never comes. The only thing that is real is the present and most of the things we experience in the present only appear to us according to the way we perceive them which makes life predominantly illusion no matter how you look at it. That is a concept the human mind will probably never fully grasp which goes to show there is obviously a force of Consciousness out there much more advanced than we are being that we cannot wrap our minds around the truth even when all logic and evidence points to it.

When human kind didn't understand why it sometimes rained and other times didn't was it also "proof" of a force of consciousness greater than our own?

After Bergeron Findeisen Process(The process for why it rains) was tested and found to work correctly what happened to that conciseness?

Just because we have not discovered how something works doesen't mean we must chalk it off to some supreme godlike entity that we must humbly grovel to.

Human kind is still very young and yes, there are many things we must humbly say we do not understand, but to then take the step and attribute it to some kind of "supernatural" force we can't have a chance to even begin to comprehend is just degrading.

When have you ever given yourself a chance to comprehend God? When you gave religion a chance and was turned away by an inconsistency with it? I'm asking because I'm noticing just about all nonbelievers think of God as the one described by religion as this overbearing figure that judges our every action and finds any excuse imaginable to sentence us to eternal damnation unless we follow certain rules on Earth. That isn't God, at least not the God I'm aware of.

Far as your rain example goes. Well, for one, any act of nature is definitely an act of higher Consciousness. Just because man has figured something out doesn't mean it isn't phenomenal, it just shows the human mind is phenomenal as well. If it weren't a sign of a higher Consciousness, we would be able to control the weather instead of just explaining and predicting it at a less than 100% success rate. Just the fact that there is a process that explains why the weather does what it does yet the weather cannot be predicted 100% of the time should show you that it is still a concept not fully grasped by the human mind either.

human perception is defined by the toltecs as "light percieving light, we all know now that light is percieved into the iris and imprinted in the back of the skull, from which is transferred into an electrical signal, that becomes a chemical signal sent through the end of axons and synapses from neuron to neuron, changing back and forth between electrical signals and chemical signals, thus creating perception. if perception was to be off or distorted, nay, different, as naturally it is between humans, which gives humans a logical, abstract, or a combination of both, or a perceptive, or a reactive, ect type mindset is all due to the number of the different types of neurotransmitters, and the number of neurons in any lobe, part, or portion of the cerebral cortex. the reason why i say this is because the minds perception is different between people, and different perceptions breed different opinions. this is an observed fact. HOWEVER, it is also known that the universe is expanding as seen from the early universe pictures observed by humans. http://images.google.com/imgres?img...ages?q=universe+pictures&gbv=2&hl=en&safe=off

O.k so what god are you "aware" of and what is your proof that it exists, the fact that human kind still has unanswered questions?

If so how is that proof?

I never said anything about predicting the weather I mentioned the process for why it rains, not when it does.

I actually read an argument that says the Universe isn't actually expanding. It pointed out how Consciousness creates reality and since we are Conscious beings whatever we seek we shall find. Therefore, since we haven't yet come to a point where it looks like the Universe ends, we assume it continues to expand. By assuming this, people are also assuming there is an empty space composed of absolutely nothing for the Universe to expand to. The Universe doesn't expand, it just is. The idea of the Universe expanding isn't much different from the idea the world is flat which some people surprisingly still believe till this very day.

Two pieces of data suggest that the universe is expanding...

No matter where you look in the sky, nearly all galaxies are moving away from us... The only exceptions of those galaxies that are part of the local group.

The farther away a given galaxy is, the faster it is moving away...

Think of the expansion this way. Blow up a balloon about half way. Put marks on it using a magic marker. Blow it up some more and you'll notice that all dots are moving away from all other dots... This is the same kind of effect we see in deep space...

It's very important to note that this effect is present for galaxies, NOT stars... The stars that we see are part of our galaxy. Any red shift they may exhibit relates to the stars proper motion, NOT the expansion of the universe...

Just like you didn't say anything about predicting the weather, I didn't say the fact human kind has unanswered questions was any kind of "proof" that there is God. You are waiting to see some kind of proof with your own physical eyes which I cannot provide for you so there is really nothing I can say to you except there is absolutely nothing you nor anyone else can say that will disprove God. Just like you think it's impossible to prove God, I know it's impossible to disprove God and so do you.

As I've stated over and over again, science and theories gets disproved all the time but God has never been. People just either don't believe because they are miserable and would rather place the blame for their misery on the nonexistence of God instead of placing the blame where it belongs: on themselves. OR it's because they're been conditioned to believe God should be considered nonexistent until God can be seen by the human eye. Ironically, these same people tend to believe things they haven't visibly witnessed all the time. They pick and choose what they need to see to believe based on who allowed it to be taught to them, not based on how much sense it makes. People are stuck in this state of mind where they feel they are the supreme intelligent beings in the Universe when the human race is in fact arguably the form of life most unaware of itself.
