I never once said I was better then you. If all you want to take from my statement is that I think I am better than all omnivores then thats really not my problem is it??
ha thats what i was wondering too! anyway pink... dont be to rough on yourself. its good to follow your gut instincts sometimes and not really think what might happen. humans make mistakes all the time, you just got to learn from them!
Namely PETA members...but that's for another thread.... Why is everybody talking about values as somthing static here? Static values that don't change when the variables that created said value; become dangerous ones. Values should be somthing that you beleive in, not an unchanging set of rules that you must abide by.
Ahhhh.. same here! Vegetarian for the last 7 years and then the other night I got wasted and got the randomest craving for a Wendy's spicy chicken sandwich! It was sooooo good. Now I am addicted. I haven't tried any other foods containing meat, but im confused as to what to do next. Should I just throw in the towel???
I had the "wouldn't greasy fish n chips be great RIGHT NOW?" flash this afternoon. I thought about my options for such, and fast food was it. Skipped it and got a Boulder Bowl at Tokyo Joe's. I figured I'd feel lousy for the rest of the day which would ofest any convenience I could concieve of by using drive up food. USC pisces, don't let a bunch of argumentative folks railing at eachother on th e'Net tell you how to eat. I can say if it were me, I'd not get another, but maybe some rocking buffalo wing sauce for tempeh.
The point I was trying to make is that values with nothing behind them are no longer values, if you start to enforce said value just because it's your value, and not because it means somthing to you then it's not a true value. And when that happens it becomes dangerous. Example - creasionism. 'nuff said. If somebody makes a decision to become vegetarian, it does not get added to some kind of value bank with no withdrawls allowed.... If the situation that caused said value to take effect changes, then so should the value.
one time i was at cracker barrel and they slipped a piece of chicken in my mashed potatoes.. i hadn't eaten meat in 7 years.. it was weird tasting.. hehe. sarah.. congrats to you for at least trying meat again. do what feels good. if you want to continue eating meat again, DO IT! if not, don't, girly. and don't listen to the assholes in this forum
