my neighbor honestly trying to be quiet most of the time. walls are waay too thin. thankful i don't have to have used credit for the past 30 or 40 years to be able to live where i do, and the unit, which is otherwise a single room, has its own bath room, and real hvac, not just a swamp cooler. and it has wifi. though that unfortunately is rather limited. it also has tv, which is kind of useless, though it does save me internet to find out the weather and national headlines. i'm also thankful i had a supply of masks from the 99cent store from before the plague when they we cheap surplus, and i got them because second hand tobacco smoke is painful to my lungs. they've finally rematerialized in the cheap shops for which i'm glad, but at four times the price, for which i'm not.
