I Am So Sick Of Anti Muslim Sentiment

So many people are bombarding my facebook wall with anti Muslim sentiment (kind of hypocritical if you think about it as a lot of the speech used is hateful to describe how "hateful" Muslims are). To me, they are a scapegoat for the true ills of the world. Most people of the faith are just like you or I, trying to get by, find love, make friends, get a job to support their family and put food on the table. They are too damn busy with the basic aspects of life to worry about hating strangers halfway across the globe. Yes there is a small percent (like half a percent or less I bet) that are fanatics, but people need to look at how the media serves as a mouth piece to divide people across race, religion and gender so they do not realize how they are truly being screwed, IMO. I am not religious (religion is the opiate of the masses) but religion is being used to create hate between people in my opinion, to distract.

 

I agree. I live in a state that is run by a governor who hates Muslims. Our governor is often on right wing radio talk shows, going along with the Muslim bashing.

 

I live in a multicultural city with a Muslim mayor and grew up around a load of Muslims. Most of the Muslim bashing here comes from people who have never met a Muslim. The more people are marginalised, the less people are exposed to them, the more hate can thrive.

 

The ones who are radicalized have been radicalized at the hands of the CIA, MI6, Israeli Mossad, and the Masonic Muslim Brotherhood which has infiltrated mosques all across the Middle East and in Europe, and the US as well. If there isn't an enemy to fight, you must create one. Radical Jihadis are today's "reds under the bed." Nobody asks who most stands to gain from alleged terrorist acts. Is it the terrorists, or the government which uses fear to gain more power and control? I think it's quite obvious the answer to that is the latter.

Yeah I never see anything against them, much. As far as my social media wall is concerned, they're a peaceful culture and anyone who doesn't agree is a racist bastard and one of the reasons why the world can't have nice things.

They only started ruining the world in the past 50 years. Before that they were perfectly happy to just have wars among themselves. But when other countries step in and try to steal oil from their land...well that is what brings the fight outside of the middle east.
And the problem people have with Muslims are they all do what they do in the name of religion. Other groups are just as dangerous but most people don't seem to mind as much when you kill for money or for being bullied or for revenge.

 

The end game is Sharia, regardless of how moderate your super awesome Muslim friends are, op. You say religion is being used to create hatred between the peoples, and I say no shit. Islam isn't a religion of peace, it's a strategy for conquest. You're delusional if you don't understand how many 10% represent, err I mean there is a small % that are fanatics, when it comes to that ideology.

No, they're not. You seem to think Islam doesn't exist outside your limited understanding of what you've been exposed to. Most of what you have said here is total BS. It is just not true in most Muslim lands, in most Muslim societies. It may be the case in some remote villages in Pakistan or Taliban lands. It may be true to a limited degree in Saudi Arabia. Where I went in the Middle East, a woman could get divorced any time for any reason. In fact in Iraq, a woman only needs to say her husband has bad breath, or bad body odor, to get a divorce. In most Middle East nations, female circumcision is just not done. I know many former Muslims who have left their birth faith because they have become Christian, or Communist (do not believe in a God) I know several Muslim women who have married Christian men, and Jewish men. In fact the Koran says that marriage to anyone from the PEOPLE OF THE BOOK is allowed. The PEOPLE OF THE BOOK means anyone of the Abrahamic Faiths. Hallal foods are nothing more than Kosher foods. the slaughter method is the same, the blessing is the same, even the marking of the gate post to the home is the same, in Judaic and Muslim faiths. Islam allowes a man to have more than one wife; but, there are requirements there also. The parctice comes straight from the Talmudic instruction. In Israel, a Jewish man is allowed to have more than one wife. So, I think you have come here with the intent to defame a people who you do not like...in total hate.

When 100 thousand UK Muslims take to the streets and demand the death of someone who's insulted their religion, that is far more telling than what any poll that they'd submit to would say. But yes, I believe there is a Pew poll that says around 90% of all the worlds Muslims do support sharia law. And again, if you think the numbers are so low, EXPLAIN all the videos that show MASSIVE numbers of Muslims supporting Sharia.

 

It is just this week. I have noticed a coordinated attack on Muslims in these few threads. The other one was an invitation to Muslims to come and join the discusssion...then get trapped by these attackers who have already gone and cherry picked some anti Muslim videos from right wing extremists gun slinger websites.
