The Taco Bell here is on a main street and is mostly a hobo hangout. I have rarely seen anyone who's not homeless eating there. By this point, I can only think of it as hobo food.
The lactose and additives in cheese spreads might be invoking a quick digestive response. Velveeta cheese spread (a product of Kraft) is made with whey protein concentrate and milk protein. It contains substances of real cheese but it isn't real cheese made by bacteria cultures. This is why it is labeled 'pasteurized process cheese product' in the U.S. It is labeled as 'product' rather than 'food'. An allergic reaction to lactose may occur for those who lack the lactase enzyme to digest it. Natural cheese made with bacteria cultures is lower in lactose because the bacteria consume this sugar. This is why some lactose-intolerant people can still eat real cheese and other fermented dairy such as yogurt without a reaction. People may mistakenly assume that a product like Velveeta is low in lactose when in fact it can have 3 to 10 times as much lactose as natural cheese and more than milk. http://www.organicauthority.com/what%27s-in-velveeta
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Processed_cheese quote "The U.S. Food and Drug Administration does not maintain a standard of identity for "pasteurized prepared cheese product", a designation which particularly appears on many Kraft products. Neither does the FDA maintain a standard of identity for "pasteurized process cheese product" (emphasis on the trailing "Product"), a designation which appears particularly on many American store- and generic-branded singles. Products labeled as such may use milk protein concentrate (MPC) in the formulation, an ingredient which does not appear in the above FDA definitions. The desire to use inexpensive imported milk protein concentrate is noted as motivation for the introduction of these and similar terms, and for the relabeling of some products.[9][10] After an FDA Warning Letter protesting Kraft's use of MPC in late-2002,[11] some varieties of Kraft Singles formerly labeled "pasteurized process cheese food" became "pasteurized prepared cheese product", Velveeta was relabeled from "pasteurized process cheese spread" to "pasteurized prepared cheese product", and Easy Cheese from "pasteurized process cheese spread" to "pasteurized cheese snack"."
Just to soak up all that acid, I had two cheese and bacon top rolls and stuffed more cheese and salami inside and sandwich pressed them. awesome.
I probably will eat it again. But I haven't eaten it since that incident Maybe in a few months. But i'm gonna try not to.
My first thoughts exactly. I just had taco Bell last night. One of my favorite places because I'm a poor cheap bastard. My favorite thing to do is get a beef burrito and a hard taco, then put the taco inside the burrito with a little hot sauce. Mmmmmm mmmm, cruncheweasy!
I know, blabbering on and on about how to choose keywords, web site promoting, search engines, bla, bla, bla. but remember, duplicate content is a spit in the soul of the search engines. no idea what any of it has to do with Taco Bell?
The Russians hacked taco bell and made the food so volatile that people shit within 10 minutes of eating it.
