then if the infliction of pain in infancy is unimportant, why don't we just smack newborns around if we feel like it?
^well for one thing that could cause actual permanent damage. also, if you had read my whole post, my point was that people don't choose to be curcumsized, because they are too young to know about the pain or make decisions about it anyway
i did read your whole post. i was addressing one of the statements you made, so i don't know what you're complaining about. how can you consider the permanent removal of healthy living tissue to be anything but actual permanent damage? people are too young to make the choice in infancy, yes. however, what happens is that choice they did not make gets passed on generation after generation because circumcized men don't want to examine the issues impartially. i hear all the time that people circumcized their sons because they didn't want junior to look different than dad. why perpetuate the practice if it can't be defended on its own merits? no one knows for sure how it affects a newborn infant to have those he trusts and depends on to mutilate his body causing great pain. i have a sneaking suspicion though, that it's not an ideal way to begin life.
It is awful the way they do it. They strap the baby down and clamp the end of the thing with a pair of clips. Then they get a sharp instrument and slice the foreskin off. Just because they are infants, they still feel pain. I know they forget later, but at the time it would be a traumatic event. Saw documentary where a family suddenly jumped on their kid and began to circumsize. I believe it is a form of child abuse.
This topic makes me think, I'm not circumcised but I got a problem with my penis. It doesn't fully retract and I might be getting a loose cut circumcision. I might still have some skin left but..oh man. I see there's a lot of woman that love uncut men but what about if it's a medical case? Cuz that's my case..
If there is a medical reason definitely get it done. The general jist the women give in this thread is they don't really care... If they like you their preference isn't going to matter, plus im sure it is far more important that it is functional and the skin not retracting means you can get a full erection.
No reason to get it hacked off. Get yourself some steroid cream from your doctor, do some stretching exercises every night, and masturbate a lot. It will eventually retract. Why jump straight to surgery without trying anything else?
wow i have seen several threads about this on here, and i am not circumsized, and ALL my teen years i hated it beacause i knew it was not really normal compared to mosy guys and that is why i avoided girls alot now i really really really regret all the pussy i could of had,now that i realize i made a bigger deal of it than it was.i think i was just scared of emarassment, and rumors in school i guess, but it really isnt that big of deal, and i have NEVER talked to anyone about it in 25 years.i didnt loose my virginity until 18 a blow job when i was 19.and i have never had a girl notice or atleast say anything about it,and my wife after 2 years i dont even think realizes i am not,my head usually atleast stays half way hung out if not all the way.
the only advice i can give you dgdys90,is dont worry about it,seriously man its not that big of deal,i was the same way,get all the pussy you can in high school as you can because trust me man you will regret it in the future and after a few times you wont even think about it.good luck man
Good for you! I say it doesnt matter circ or uncirc. If you love eachother it will feel good either way. Peace!
i know quite a few guys that arent cut. in my teens most of the guys i knew were...so that was the norm in my mind. then in my twenties it swapped. mind you uncut still seems a bit odd to me...but really...does it matter at all?!! (foreskin kinda makes me nervous haha) and ive also heard that uncut are more sensitised in sex...so its more pleasurable?
