Hi. I am new here. My name is Giuly and i'm 26. I came from Italy and i am a barefooter since 6 years. I love this way of life because make me feel free and because i love to feel everything under my feet. As a lot of barefooters i really like also to get my feet dirty and tough. For me its a part of the fun. For the society girl's feet have to be smooth and delicate but for me a true foot has to be strong, tough and dirty. There are anyone like me here?
Hi, Giuly. I'd say there are a few of us here like you that love urban barefooting and dirty soles. Thick rough black soles for me are the mark of a true barefooter! Keep the feet bare.
Hi Giuly95, im barefooter too from Chile, nice join us, i am barefooter since 2010 but 24/7 since two years its incredible how the soles reacts to the stimulus and began get tough, my soles right now are so tough and rough, i like getting black soles too when I walk through the city, and its nice to see a girl who embrace this lifestyle leaving behind a smooth and delicate pair of feet. Please show us your soles, your barefoot sign.
Hi. You can see it in my profile page. This pictrure was shoot the last summer after a barefoot evening stroll in my city. It was so hot and i love the sensation of fresh concrete under my feet for this reason i decided to walking along the parking lot and the railway station and was insane how dirty my feet become. But i consider myself very lucky because in my city get extreme dirty feet it's very easy.
No shoes are the best shoes anyway. I've been living a barefoot lifestyle for around 10 years now, wearing flip-flops in our office buildings is the only exception.
Salutations, new girl, and welcome. This place sure needs the fresh blood. So you started at age 20? 7 years earlier than I did. And you wouldn't believe how I've regretted waiting that long. But this adventure has since taken me to a place, where I can now walk on snow (up to a point). Which means no black feet for me, since snow, being essentially just frozen water, actually cleans my soles when I walk on it. Hmm, it's such a fresh and pure feeling...
The dirt one collects keeps changing. What is under your feet will be wiped away by new dirt, save for sticky stuff like tree resin... Mud dries up quick and turns into dust. Black city soles will clean up if you walk on a dirt path, even faster on gravel. When it rains, rough asphalt will brush your soles white. But why am I telling this ? You all know, already ! Sticky stuff... once i was working as a clerk in a place that had a wood deck of very sticky pine planks. All around, outside, more pine trees. I always ended with a layer of pine needles glued to the bottom of my feet. Like having shoes of sorts ! The customers were a bit appalled , though.

I discovered barefooting after reading article on barefoot running, I don't run, I just got the idea too see if I could make feet tough and strong enough to go barefoot like a billion people do most of there lives every day without a problem. That article made sense so I tried What I did not know is after this experiment to strengthen my feet I would not want to wear shoes at all anymore and be doing this for years. I can't feel the ground with shoes on. Now a walk with shoes is boring. One website I read described walking barefoot on all the different surfaces in the world to wine tasting. That to me describes it. "society girl's feet have to be smooth and delicate" That's ridiculous the beauty industry has women convinced buy all these products and they should not go barefoot or they will get callouses, probably had 20 women use that excuse when I suggested them going barefoot when they commented on me doing it. Then why don't I have "callouses" ? That's not what happens ! Barefooting is the way to sexier feet. Higher arches, straighter and better spread toes. Welcome and keep spreading the word. The barefoot revolution continues !
I'm glad you called her out, if it's a woman in the first place. I never thought this one was real, and because there are so many nice people who converse on these threads, it's too bad to have such nonsense.
