i've never been, i am so stoked! i miss it, the beach is my favorite. i'm starting to really want to live in cali, a stone's throw from the beach AND the mountains.... perfection.
maybe i shall. zilla is my evil alter-ego. and i will get a pic of the bead soon so everyone can see its glory.
I miss it. It was a great place to live. I get VERY depressed here and it's because I can't just drive to the beach or walk to a cool trail with my dogs. We're moving back in June and will be an hour from Yosemite and an hour and a half from San Luis Obispo, so I am a happy camper again. Have fun! Don't forget to smoke some of that awesome cali weed.
i will def be toking on plenty of cali ganja. we're driving up the coast and going to lassen, yosemite, sequoia etc on the way back. maybe not camping in death valley. i'm guessing it will be starting to get brutal in may
right on. that's just up the road from my mom's house. used to party quite a lot in long beach. spent my childhood there, too, but it was near the base in navy housing. that's all gone now. and don't you feel like a ton of bricks has been lifted from you?
i wish i grew up partying on long beach... we had port aransas, south padre island, canyon lake. not really the iconic sparkling beaches of california. and yes. i feel so much better right now already. i gotta hit up an atm and pop this sucker in the mail....
You should use your board name; and after you've apologized, just tell them you were enticed by their fine quality jewelry, and to make up for it you’ve recommended their haberdashery to all your friends Hotwater
haha, im sure the owners would be totally stoked on money and apology, california has had this slight calling to me for a couple of years now but ill probably just end up in BC on Vancouver Island, anybody here going check out Outside Lands in Frisco? Im trying to choose, either that or Shambhala in Nelson, but im leaning towards Shambles, i was going go last year but couldnt even afford a trip outta province, this year though?!!? haha the cost of living sucks
That shows a lot of maturity, facing your mistakes and then fixing them. Being a vagabond for a while is ultimately good for the soul. Maybe that's why you went on this adventure anyway. Have fun out there Zilla my friend.
The road is a very powerful thing. It helps teach you about things and even yourself you would never learn sitting around at home. The people you meet out there are totally random and amasing, when you stack wood for an old hippie man and he invites you in for tea and ends up busting out his giant orange garbage bag full of weed, ya you know your in for one hell of a treat.
I Think What You Are Doing, Is Fantastic.. Under The Circumstances, It Is Exactly What I Would Do. I Have Never Had Any Pleasure From Anything I Stole As A Kid. The Only Thing Missing Here, Is That (you..we) Won't Get To See The Look On The Shop-Owners Face When They Open Their Mail.. It Should Go A Long Way Towards Reinforcing Their Faith In Human Nature. Enjoy The Rest Of Your Trip. And Thank You For This Thread. Cheers Glen.
