No. Sarcasm stems from embitterment and a desire to mock others, both of which are defense mechanisms employed by the ego.

What Xexon is referring to is the possiblity of an enlightened person using the appearance of sarcasm as a means of producing a state of heightened awareness in an ego-bound individual.

This, however, is not actual sarcasm, only the structural equivalent of it. The underlying energy is something else entirely.

I'd like to learn more about all of this from the two of you.

often I find however that I just dont know what to ask.

Part of it can be attributed to our deficiencies as well. Xexon likes to appropriately maintain a facade of detachment and insight, but this makes personalized conversations difficult. I myself don't have this tendency to distance myself from conversations, but my access to the knowledge you seek is sporadic. In the near future, however, there is a possiblity that this could change dramatically, in which case you will have a many wonderful opportunities for learning. :)

but if you are on the verge of something then shouldn't you have already arrived by now?

Yes, it has only been due to my own negligence and self-indulgence that I have not already arrived. If I continue to prolong the impending shift in consciousness, I run the risk of endangering my mental stability and possibility even my life.

    hmmm..

so what exactly does this shift in consciousness entail? what changes will you see? how will you be different after this is completed?

Well, it's always difficult to predict the outcome of a shift of consciousness of the magnitude that I'm referring to. The perceptual faculties that one would rely upon to speculate upon the potential outcome are transmuted by the shift, thus making them ultimately irrelevent.

Speaking in broader terms, however, I would be less dependent on cerebral forms of self-expression. I would have a greater capacity to adapt to a variety of external circumstances. Instead of allowing the focal point of my energetic configuration to vacillate between energetic centers, my energy would be equally distributed throughout my body. And perhaps most importantly, I would be fully driven to transmit what knowledge and insight I have access to in loving service to humanity.

    So, basically, good stuff. :)

thats probably how come I overlooked the sarcasm from xexon, xexon had, I felt, a loving quality in the post to Heywood, I felt it was not mocking, yet I wondered how come he said something stupid which I felt he was fully aware of.

I didn't know spirit could be that clever [IMG]

I reckon Osho would have had the ability to use this method, I reckon he also would have appeared to mock the ones who were outraged by his spending sprees....to bring awareness into their rage...clever little buggar?...maybe

Well, like I said, I have neglected the call of Spirit -- so, in some sense, nothing. I am essentially in a holding pattern. I have had the opportunity to cross the threshold that would produce these changes, amongst others, for some time now (probably a year and a 1/2). I have simply succumbed to escapist tendencies and other personal weaknesses and in the process have obstructed my path.

The reason you're probably not crossing the threshhold is because you're just not as spiritual as I am. You could always try holding your breath until you pass out three times a day, or sleeping with a gerbil under your pillow, or better yet, bathing in gasoline... because I have found these to be very spiritual 'exercises', if you will.

basically, all my questions have to do with how can I advance myself beyond what I am today. How do I transcend where I am

If being spiritual means bathing in gasoline, passing out through depriving yourself of air and wondering whether you'll find a gerbil up your nasal cavities at dawn then i beg to ask...
where does that leave one's integrity? and where is one's submission directed?
