I was wondering what all hormones there are and what’s the best to take with less side affects and I don’t care about reversing or transition back I’m growing boobs and I’ll always had a ass but I’m been developing hips to go with it and I was just curious if some of the people on here could give me some good advice on it and if anyone has did this for there’s self and I would love to have someone to talk about this with im so lonely in my new change and I don’t want to just be doing this journey all by myself but if there’s someone on this site that could relate I would appreciate there time and advice thanks u all for the time

The best advice I can give you is to stay away from do-it-yourself hormones. You can mess yourself up badly doing that stuff. Talk to your doctor and get the good stuff prescribed properly. You need to be monitored while on hormones, so the levels can be adjusted to stay in a safe range.

The hormones you see sold on ebay or over the counter will damage your liver. The best way and the best results are simply to go to your doctor and they will prescribe hormones in the proper dosage for you. Everything that you tell your doctor of course is confidential so no one will know. There really is no reason to not go through your doctor.

You should link him, Girl. I'd do it but I'm pretty sure you're more familiar.

Welcome to HIP! I'm always here to chat with, very supportive of lbgtq, look for the penguin avatar. I'm a straight female, but even if I can't give advice I can listen!...

It’s liberating and kind of scary

I am transitioning as well. I started on hormones the first week of April. I did go to my doctor, who referred me to a specialist. I am 100 percent positive this is what I want, and will have the complete operation once my hormone treatments are to the point my doctor wants. I'm very excited. I have to admit, the hormones are a bit tough to deal with....mentally. I have my wife to talk it out when I need to. She supports my decision, and has been great so far

    Congratulations on starting hormones!

If you want to talk about the mental challenges of hormones, this is the place for it. Usually, starting on hormones gives considerable mental relief. So, if there is something going on for you that makes it challenging, it might be helpful to talk about it.

Almost to my third month, and it feels so right. I will admit that I felt odd, but a few days ago I had an epiphany. It's all clear now. I have started to notice breasts, just a tiny bit but it's exciting, and my skin is getting so soft. Mentally, I'm good. My goal is very clear, and feels right.
