Under embarrassing moments: What would you do if you just got a new place somewhere and you are with the one you love. Things are going really well at the moment when suddenly, your parents decide to pay a surprise visits. (They are your parents and you gave them a spare key to your place for emergencies.) You hear the door rattle in the darkness but you think, "Naw, I must be hearing things." You go right back to what you are doing until, suddenly, the door flies open. (At this point your love one scrambles to get up and get dress in one fluid motion which fails miserably.) Your eyes and the eyes are your parents are both enormously wide. (Showing the family resemblance.) You are embarrassed and so are they so what do you do?
I'm used to it. They caught me on such situation several times back in my younger years... They both love brewed coffee so I guess I'll just invite them to the dining table and talk about their unexpected visit.
I would seriously die, or vomit which ever came first if my parents caught us!!! We are all grown up , but still the thought((((shudders))))!!! HAHA My best friend caught my BF and I fooling around a couple of months back. But if it had to be anyone, it had to be her, Thankfully!!!!
It's going on right now isn't it? You used your little remote like the one on Flick and paused the scene and you're on the computer asking for advice, dreading when you have to unpause it again and seriously considering loading your timestopped parents into the car and leaving them at the truckstop on route 41. Am I close?
I do nothing. I'm a married woman and it's my right to get down and dirty with my husband when and where I want to. They wouldn't have a key to my house anyway, and even if they did, they'd call first. My in-laws on the other hand, we've had some close calls with drop by visits when the hubby and I were in the midst of passion on the living room floor while the kids napped upstairs. Needless to say, they no longer have a key.
Neither set of parents has a key. My parent's don't pay unannounced visits, his do. If they did have a key and caught us, that would be the end of their having a key...
Does it drive you nuts? It drives me nuts when my in-laws drop in unannounced. And it's usually at dinner time.
Yep. One time they stopped over for a "birthday visit" right at the kids' bedtime on a school night...They had brought a gift my son already had, so gave me the receipt, which had the date/time on it showing they had bought the gift on the way over..
Oh man, that sounds like my in-laws, dropping by right at the kids' bedtime and then expecting us to keep them up when they're cranky, and then they wonder why the kids are all in bad moods and not being social. It's like, they KNOW their bedtimes, why they can't come over any earlier is beyond me. That's hilarious about the gift with the receipt!
