If this passes, Hydrocodone will be prescribed the same as Oxy, apparently. The main change for me is that I'll have to have it renewed every 90 days instead of 6 months like I do now. That's not exactly devastating news, but it's going to be a pain in the butt.
WOW, the current administration making it more difficult to get commercial made opiates, yet controls the country where the majority of Opium comes from and since taking over, has seen Opium production almost triple. Hmmmmmm.......
I'm scripted Oxy, and I have to get my doctor to write me a new script EVERY month. No refills. I thought that was standard for Narcotics...
It depends on your situation and your doctor. I'm a chronic pain patient and I've been on Hydrocodone since '03. It gives me a higher quality of life and it doesn't knock me out. It just helps me do normal day-to-day activities that would be much harder otherwise.
It makes me happier than I would be otherwise. And if it provides a nice warm glowy buzz in addition to pain relief, fuck it. :sunny:
