I can't help but think that any pet owner who would recklessly tie their pet to a tree before evacuating this storm, probably don't treat their pets very well, on average. No loving pet owner is going to tie their pet to a tree for any reason.
We're supposed to get the remnants of Irma tonight but the weather is already pretty yucky and winds are starting to pick up
And yeah I don't really understand tying your pets up, just..why? If you dont care enough to take them why not at least turn them loose so they can seek higher ground in case of flooding
One of our neighbors had a big pine split and break. It missed the house and hit the work shed. We aren't even in the worst of it yet.
Yikes that's terrifying. We have some big trees looming over our house, I think we're going to camp out in the one bedroom that is in a corner of the house without a tree hovering over it
It's so weird but most of the homes north of Tampa in my area seemed okay. I went outside to walk around my neighborhood and it looks like literally nothing happened and we have power. Sending good thoughts to GA and AL who are experiencing Irma. It looked like Jacksonville wasn't prepared for this ugh
I havent been following that closely...so I dont know. When are things expected to get back to normal When is it going to calm down or die
The hurricane is on its way out but now all these coastal areas have to deal with flooding We're getting some strong wind gusts here. Downtown Charleston is flooded, the IOP is flooded. The Folly Beach boat washed away. I know no one knows what I'm talking about but I love that damn boat
Are you guys ^^ prepared for this storm?? There was such a focus on Florida for Irma, I'm wondering if any other areas were told to prepare?
It's 6:30 pm here. We're going to get maximum wind gusts until midnight and rain until 8 pm tomorrow night. Trees are down all over Metro Atlanta. Huge numbers without power.
