Well hell I don't like that "model" at all. That looks like we are just on the dang edge of things.

 

There's another model that shows it coming straight across the state from Myrtle Beach to Greenville

 

My cousin is leaving Tybee Island and going to Florida.

I don't know what my nephew's plans are. He's in Savannah.

My friend in Charleston is going to stay unless she can get her Mom and Dad to evacuate. They don't want to.

 

Hopefully it'll just be another Irma.

I don't know what it is about people not wanting to evacuate for hurricanes
I know it is a huge disruption and inconvenience, but so is actually being in a hurricane.

 

Well, I hope she stays safe.

Everytime Florida gets a hurricane I go through the same thing with my sister too. Then she turns around and tells me I should move because she sees fires on TV.

 

lol yeah that's true. I guess you just get used to whatever sort of natural disaster you're exposed to in your region, and develop a sense about when to leave and when to stay
We dont really have natural disasters here save for the random freak tornado. that's one reason I like it here.
