Nope, thats always a fear of mine. So many huge oak trees around here. And the coast has all those big live oaks
My sister rode out Irma hunkered down with a box of wine. Same here. Not a big deal down in the basin in the city. Between mudslides and fires though, you couldn't pay me enough to live in the hills. Uh-uh.
anyone east of 95 should get out now.. Dont wait til the last minute. Just because FT Bragg is around the corner ..Dont expect them to mobilize for days..
It does look pretty ominous ...have watched the news a bit today and dang, 50 hours of rain and high winds they’re predicting?
Combat Vets MC will be traveling to North Carolina in an Operations Command truck from National Cannabis Security Services. Donated money will be used to purchase water, blankets, first aid kits, fuel (diesel and gas), diapers, baby formula etc. We want to stock this truck full of supplies and aid to deliver to the areas of North Carolina heavily affected by Hurricane Florence. The truck will be manned by and the supplies delivered by seasoned trained combat veterans that are accustomed to working in harsh environments. Any little amount helps. Got to gofundme Combat Vets MC or whatever.. I can not link that, tho its my friends ...
I am safe from ordinary hurricanes. This is no ordinary hurricane so who knows. We are basically going to be in a low pressure tropical storm system here by Sunday which could possibly spawn tornadoes. Flooding is a possibility Not sure if really in danger or if local meteorologist is hyping the danger for ratings :/
I dont know if he does it on purpose But this meteorologist is ridiculous. Every weather event is always the worst case scenario with him and hes almost always wrong
