As we've already established, hunting is ineffective as a means of population control. This line of argument is just an excuse that the hunt use to try and detract attention from the fact that their activity is simply a 'sport'. Therefore, there'll be no need to compensate for the abolition of hunting by killing more foxes. If you want to discuss vivisection, start another thread. It's way outside the scope of this one.
