well it seemed sad to me...cause its unhealthy to force yourself not to eat. whatever makes you happy i suppose...but i wish there was a way you could eat and still feel happy about yourself
that happened to my friend.i kind of had an idea but i didn't really know.till she told me she was going to therapyi felt weird for a day or two.but she's ok now
ohhh mannn jellybellys are good. thats true.. You can actually taste the juice in the pear flavored one, my favorite ones are those red ones, not the cherry ones, nor the cinnamon ones.. this crazy red one.
ive been craving greasy food ridght when i wake up and i also think i sleep walk and eat becuz there is allways a messy counter in teh morn weird wild stuff
i'm gonna start fasting tomorrow fasting in different senses to from food from drugs from distractions three signs that have been gradually showing themselves to me well...finally went "WOOSH" and jumped out completely and i was like "oh, okay" so i'll do as it says
when people say they are fasting from food...does that mean that they are not going to eat any food at all for a certain amount of time? i dont see how people can do that...it seems so hard. at least, for me it is. i get hungry to often, even though i dont eat that much
well, i'm just gonna drink water so i think i'll be cheating but i learned more about fasting from Siddhartha just seperate yourself from the material-ness of food or something it'll be hard for me i love food... but i gotta listen to what i feel is right
hehe. i see siddhartha has left an important mark in your learnings Ive prived myself from food for about 3 days once, and meditated, and took awareness walks... lets just say that , when i went to bed at night... I had the craziest lucidest dreams ever... it even ended with an astral travel. Expanding your mind and your awarenesss really improved my life
good point...always best to do what feels right for ya i just couldnt do it...cause by the end of the fasting, i would probably end up weighing 110 pounds, if i lived for more then a few days.
You get hungry because you eat in a pattern. Say you eat your first meal of the day fairly regularaly at 8:00 AM, then your body would release insulin beforehand to get ready for the incoming sugar. It is the insulin that makes you hungry. If you eat very irregularly (ie: no pattern whatsoever) you never feel hungry. After the first day of fasting you stop releasing insulin (at regular times) as well and don't feel hungry.
Do you fast? Fasting a lot tends to do that (is what I've heard). EDIT: Nevermind, after reading more of the thread I see that you have before.
