i wonder... is humility a good thing? why yes, yes it is. had mr. 'wrathoftheguitar' been humble he would not have gotten riffed on like he is. so here is yet another poll... how humble are you. and it does have to do with music, because some folks are humble about their abilities and taste and others try to shove it down your fucking throat...
Well i used to be, uh, not humble about my guitar playing. especially with orsino. but i think i've changed now. but i mean come on, even if you never played an instrument in your life, no matter who you are, you have the right to say the his song sucks really, really bad.
oh, well i just wanted to be sure because i didnt mention the wrathofguitar guy in my post. But i guess that it was so bad, that all you have to do is say "his song sucks" and everyone whose heard it will know what ya mean.
that guy's thread is so long.. maybe i'll go read it.. maybe. i'm obviously not a humble person when it comes to my songwriting talents.. you cant blame me for that though, a lot of noel gallagher's personality rubbed off onto me when i was listening to oasis for weeks on end. :sunglasse i've only bragged once about my guitar-playing ability.. i was at this party and there was another guy there with a guitar who was 21 and had been "playing" since he was 14.. yeah right.. the dude couldn't keep up with me, and that was before i met george in person. i told him "damn man, i'm a lot better than you, and i have yet to be playing for a full year." i know i'm not a bad guitarist, but its nothing to brag about... yet. (good idea for a thread, blakeman)
