    Yes, some people (like me) care, but not enough. Most people are self centered egotistical assholes who think the world belongs to them. It wouldn't be a huge loss to the planet if all humanity got wiped out. At least the animals aren't harming ecosystems in near the ways we are.

    If I live to be an old man I believe children will not believe I lived in the world I did. If anyone has seen Blade Runner it's going to be like that. Owning an animal? That's for the wealthy there are not that many even in the wild.

    Probably so. But you know, I seriously think humans are more likely to die out because of our own stupidity, and maybe some animals can survive our shit. Let's think: as much population control as there is, there is also plenty of murder going on too. It's either that, or humans and other animals will die out due to some natural freak disaster. I heard that that asteroid that killed the dinosaurs (or something similar, I can't remember exactly what) is due to strike again within the next 30,000 years.
