You may want to debate and fight with everyone, but I don't and I know I'm not the only one. That's why I think you're pathetic. You did a yourself a disservice by dropping out of high school because now you have this chip on your shoulder with something to prove on a freakin hippy forum. How sad. Run along with your pathetic little life starch.
Well, people with pathetic little lives are known by the company they keep--that would be you on this fine night. How does it feel to be found out by a high school drop out? You're pretending that others didn't offer opinions in this thread. Even a high school drop out can see that they most assuredly did. And some of us discussed dogs, and yes, without your permission!! By the way, why don't you, in your own words, tell everyone what was so offensive about the post you obssessed over.
Don't flatter yourself, I don't keep you as company. You're the buzzing shit fly that got lost on his way home to the litter box. Peace out bumpkin.
It was a tough assignment, wasn't it--asking you to explain yourself concerning my post which you found to be offensive? Being reduced to a name-caller is a position usually reserved for pathetic drop-outs. This is indeed a night for anomalies!
we don't have a litter box, and I don't understand why someone would want to train a cat to use one. The cat is only allowed on one chair. They are trainable just not as easily as a dog.
This dude really thinks he deserves my answers and attention after being such a nuisance. What an ass clown. In other news: www.youtube.com/watch?v=gGB7E3x8_L0"]Soft Paws - YouTube
There again, willingly reducing yourself to name-calling instead of explaining what you found to be offensive in my post. Try again!
Storch, can you move on? Seriously. Go find something to do. Sitting here and harassing me isn't getting us anywhere.
Ya I would prefer to let my cat go outside, one of the reasons we want to move out of the city. Not wanting to hurt my cat was motivation enough to abstain from declawing her, but moving to a place with woods and outdoor area is yet another. I think removing the cats claws and leaving them defenseless is just so unfair. Its also interesting that the UK doesn't hold this practice as much as we do in the US. I wonder why that is.
lol I've seen this one. I've tried to teach my kitty to fight a little more after an experience babysitting another cat. The other cat was a lot bigger and more prone to attacking. She can stand on her hind legs and bat my hand like a mofo!
I can't ever see declawing a cat. And I do understand the need for a litter box with city living but we have neighbors that don't let there's outside and I live in a small town
Do they let their cats outside at all? Only reason I can see it useful if you have an indoor / outdoor cat is during their "emergencies". My cat is really funny in that when she gets her wet food, she will stop midway through and go to the box, then go back to the food. I guess the cat could go outside with no problem if there was a kitty door or something.
One lady lets her cat out during the day but at night its locked up in a spare bedroom and another doesn't let the cat out at all for fear of it getting caught by a coyote.
Dude, its locked in a room all night? That doesn't seem fair at all. I mean, I lock mine in a room at night sometimes when she's caterwauling (she's not fixed) just so we can sleep but its not a regular thing and its only when she gets really really really loud.
I know it's weird to lock it up in a room but he's got his own bed, chair and litter box. Ours had a cat door so he can come and go as needed
In Ontario we have a back bencher trying to get a bill to Queens Park to ban declawing. I know many vets in my area will no longer declaw but the issue is we are only about 15 minutes from Quebec where they still do it. I never had an outdoor cat but I still would not declaw as it is part of being a cat. When I had my cat it would go outside in my yard with me and come in and it would also walk on a harness and lead. When I would walk the dogs he would walk with us. They can be trained and with inventions like the one posted there are options that are a lot more humane.
A few years ago we had a cat that had a kittens and we set-up a plastic kiddie pool as a way of containing the little buggers. There was food, water and a small litter box in there for them. One day momma cat was calming watching them all play when one of the kittens just squats right where he is and pees. What happened next amazed my wife and daughters as we watched. The momma cat got up. picked the kitten that peed up and put him in the litter box, then made some odd sound and all the kittens came running over and sat looking right at her. Momma then proceeded to go into a 3 minute long "bitching" session and made all types of groans and growls. When she was done all of the kittens jumped into the litter box and started sniffing scratching, etc. and using it. From that day on each of those kittens never had another "accident". We all just stood there with our jaws gaping in astonishment.
We also had a Siamese cat when I was a kid that my sister "adopted". When we got it it had already been defanged and and front paws declawed. The reason why was because the cat was a psychotic and violent sociopath to say the least. My sister was the only one who could go near it or touch it, anyone else would be viciously attacked. That was until the day it latched on to my sisters forearm and raked it with it's back claws and sent my sister to the hospital for stitches. My dad took the cat outside, he came back but the kitty didn't.
