Yes it is, my fear is that this place has turned into Facebook. I think I was here years ago but couldn't log in so I rejoined. Back then it was not like Facebook. Facebook isn't for me. I won't be reading about politics. Each to their own.
Not to be controversal, but - Facebook was good - for it's time - I ended up with re-uniting with people from years ago (school, old workplaces and previous social encounters) along with seeing two (international) relationships. The down-side being that like a lot of good (theoretical) ideas, it has evolved into a place of gossip, bullying and stupity. * Welcome to HIP *
Yep it was good for a while, I found a few lost souls from the good ol days. But like you say, it has evolved into a place of gossip, bullying and stupidity.. pretty nasty IMHO. I got off there a couple of years ago.
