Old enough to understand and comprehend the consequences of sex. STD's, AIDS or HIV, pregnancy etc. I agree with there being a legal age, 16 sounds fine
Old enough to understand the consequences of sex. HIV, AIDS, pregnancy, STD's. If they can't comprehend it then it's a bad move but try telling teens that.
alright she needs to watch out for the parents becuz if they do do anything his parents could find out and like bring her to court for rape or somethin
They say the majority of teens are still having unprotected sex. It is so stupid that they don't care about pregnancy or HIV/AIDS. It isn't always a case of ignorance also, many get the facts but don't care.
I say it depends on the activity. Kids explore and experiment with each other at very early ages, but I would (and this is clearly my opinion) say the age that the person understands their own actions and can consent to pleasurable experiences would be around 12 years old ...(yes, I lost it at 12, ok?!?) I don't think 12 year olds should be having sex and certainly not with adults, but the law goes obsessive on these topics too often. For instance a 15 year old cannot consent to sexual relations (of any kind) with someone 18 (for example), but if the 15 year old KILLED the 18 year old, he/she could be tried as an adult. As advocate of "situation ethics" and circumstancial law. I would examine it on a per case basis. Some people mature faster than others. If it is a matter of a consensual relation, an examination would be conducted to determine whether or not the "victim" was capable of giving proper consent based upon their knowledge of the situation and the act to which they consented. If consent was not given, it is rape. However, most children under 12 do not have a proper understanding of sexual activity, so there you go.
Age is simply a number. I don't believe it should have any bearing on a relationship. If it's true love, what does it matter? My ex was 16 when he met his 34 year old girlfriend and they stayed together for 8 years before calling it quits. My mother and father were 11 years apart. I myself am 19 yet have feelings for an older man. Is it sick? No! Who's to say why the heart melts for certain people? I know when I fall in love, I'm not concerned about their age, only about the DYNAMIC, the PERSON - NOT THE NUMBER. Love can transcend any boundary - age is the least of their worries. Wish them the best, whether you agree or not, she's still your good friend.
Unfortunatly you are right... I am in my late thirtys and if you had done that to me and tryed to fuck me I can't say that I would stop you. It would be a tough situation. I know the laws and everything but it would be so hard to stop. If I knew their was no way to get caught I would teach you some serious fuckin. sexual attraction is a powerful thing
