How you started?

When I was younger I would go outside to a secluded section of the backyard and take all my clothes off. It was the first time I was nude outside.

 

Although I would always enjoy nudism now and again, it wasn't till I met up with my current partner about 7 years ago that I became a full time nudist. She was brought up us a nudist and it didn't take much persuasion for me to join her!

Ironically she is now the only member of our family who is not a full time nudist! - She is mostly during the summer and of course on holiday and at the nudist club, but in the winter months despite our home always being warm, she will sometimes wear clothes.

 

I was in boy scouts at a wilderness summer camp, maybe 13 yrs old. It was late in the evening. They had outdoor showers with a wood fired boiler. Drying off, naked by the heat of the boiler I loved being naked. A wonderful feeling that never has gotten old!

I was always a bit curious about nudism and wondered what it might be like to live without clothes, but I had never personally seen or known of anyone doing it. One night in my teens, I woke to the sounds of laughter from the neighbor's backyard. From my bedroom window, I could see the neighbor and a friend streaking around his yard naked. After that, I started trying to find time to be naked inside or outside of the house. I was concerned that my family would not approve, so this was all done when they were out of the house or asleep. My nudism has varied over the years, usually due to my living situation. I am fortunate that my wife is accepting of my preference to be nude so I am naked most times at home.

 

I also forgot to mention that around that time when I was 11, I was watching TV one night and the news show 20/20 was on and they did a story about nude beaches (this was the 70’s and nudism was gaining popularity). To me the fact that men and women were going naked together on the beach just blew my mind, but something inside me knew that this was for me and that one way or another I was going to do that someday. It took me about 9 years to finally get to a nude beach (when I was 20), but once I did I knew that was it. I’ve been a nudist ever since.

 

I started while I was in the womb, but then people started dressing me right after my birth.

Then, starting in my mid-teens, I resumed being in my natural state whenever there were no people around to tell me otherwise. I'd just take my clothes off and enjoy that freedom, indoors or outside.

To this day, whenever the environmental and social conditions allow, I am naked.

I guess I never thought much about it (being nude outdoors) until I was about 14 or there about. May dad had built a two stage set of pull up bars, one had rings attached to cables and other pretty much a 'pull up' bar. I used them frequently. One evening it was pretty hot and since these bars were in our backyard I thought doing a routine in the nude would be more comfortable if I were not encumbered with shirt and shoes. That was the beginning of doing these workouts in the nude (at night, in the dark, or course). In the course of doing some of these exercises I found that by putting my entire weight on my pelvis while up on the bar is created one hell of an erotic feeling. After a few times I was pretty much hooked. It was always dark when I was outdoors on the bars and our yard was fenced for privacy, I actually looked forward to being out there and getting that very erotic feeling while on the bar using my pelvic bone as my balance point. Our neighbor to the rear of us (our backyards had a common brick wall) were one of the few in our neighborhood that had a swimming pool in their yard. I think the owner was a 30'ish single guy and probably didn't use his pool very often and, from I could tell, never a night. Yup, I'd often end my bars workout and sneak into his backyard and take a swim in the nude. That was pretty much how I got to the point where I admitted to myself that I liked being in the great outdoors sans clothing. No doubt, at some point, during those nights in my parents backyard I was likely seen. The thought of being seen excited me and probably contributed to my desire to partake in being an exhibitionist. To this day, I still get that desire and, when I can, I let my desires guide me in which ever way they wish. Nude beaches are wonderful (far less crowded that typical public beaches) and they present a terrific platform for doing your watching while being 'watched' urges. Much older now, but I continue to enjoy being in the great outdoors without a stitch on (sunglasses and hat for sure remain on).
