I have had the same hairdresser for years and the few times I did not go to her, I was not as pleased with my hair cut. I think if you find someone who does a great job on your hair you then tend to be rather loyal to that hair stylist.
You let her cut it a second time after the first time was like that?? Anyways I cut my own hair. Or have a friend do it. I've never been any more happy with someone else cutting it than doing it myself so...shrugs.
Yea I'm probably going to have to trim mine soon. It's probably been three quarters of a year since I last cut mine. I don't have any split ends though and it doesn't look bad... pretty much because I use good hair products but in any case, been thinking lately I should really give it a trim very soon regardless.
I've been going to the same salon for 4 or 4 years but I usually just take whoever is available. I think next time I go I'm going to request the first guy who cut my hair there because all subsequent haircuts haven't been as good. He also wasn't afraid to say "oh, no honey, that will not suit you" which I appreciated.
Yea but.... Let's say it this way, even though I haven't gotten my hair cut by anyone but myself in 4 years or so, I went to a place like that before (just one of those walk in places) and someone cut my hair badly to the point where I had to go home and fix it myself. When I say badly I don't mean that I didn't like the style or something,... I mean it was crooked. Had to go home and even it out myself. I was mad at myself that I had paid the lady first of all. And tipped her. (gahhh) but really, sure, everyone has bad days but my view on that is- if it's someone's job to be able to cut hair, they should at least be able to cut hair. It doesn't have to be the best thing ever but fuck up my hair once and that's it. Anyways I feel like cutting my hair right now.. hmm
Same woman's been cutting my hair for twenty-one years. I pay ten dollars for a perfect cut, and I tip her two dollars. She turns sixty-eight this November, and she plans to retire at seventy. What then? I thought about marrying her just for the haircuts. But she's already married, and she's married to a minister. I would have to get rid of him first. During our many discussions over the years, she has told me a lot. One of the things she's told me is that her husband has a heart problem, and that he rides a bike in town as a kind of therapy. I know some street punks I could hire for pretty cheap to chase him with knives. If the guy really thought his life depended on it, I'm sure he'd pedal himself right into a cardiac event. And then I'd be there for her. Of course, there's still the matter of my wife to tend to. But I'm sure I'll come up with something; I usually do. I know there's probably a few people reading this who are thinking that I am somewhat callous in my solution to this particular dilemma. And I'm sure that there are those whose sensibilities are offended by the straightforward nature of my approach to, and remedy of, this potential problem. However, I would ask that you reserve judgment until you see my harcut.
usually I make them arm wrestle and whoever wins gets to cut my hair but next time I will go with a short foot race because I don't want the big girl to win again
^yep. best thing about a haircut is boobs on the back. worst thing about a haircut is beer belly on the back.
