Don't lie, period

I make it quite clear to my missus that;

NASCAR truck series is on? Okay, talk to me half way through a run.
NASCAR Xfinity series is on? Leave me alone until the adverts.
NASCAR Cup series is on? Then girl you best not be disturbing me! And that goes for football too! I get emotional, I get fanatical and I don't do chit chat when my teams are on!

Of course other than that, it's just communication. You want a decent relationship you need to communicate. You let her know what you're feeling etc. she needs and wants to know this. Don't hide things, if she gonna get angry at something then is she the one? She needs to understand too. If stuff is changing and will effect the relationship, voice it. Voice everything! It'll be totally worth it if she's the right one and if she's not, we'll communication can bring that out of her too.
