I post what I use to grow in most of my threads just so I can give a better look of what I'm doing so people can give me an answer from what they know, so with that said, I started off growing for my first time with 4plants, I'm now down to one because of the plants that died as I was learning why and what I needed to start doing because to prevent it once it happened, so I'm pretty clear on how to keep them a live now, anyways, I have 1 plant under 4, 4 foot long Flourescents, 2 cool-white, 2 warm light... Growing inside a grow box about 5 feet long and 2feet wide, which within the week will have Mylar coating the inside.

I started growing August 20th and It's about 5-6 Inches tall now. I was wondering after the veg state ends, what do I change to start the flowering stage so I can prepare before that time comes.

HPS and MH Lights are kinda out of my price range right now, and the ballasts alone are enough to confuse me right there. Which is why I stick to the flourescents, they plug easily into the wall without confusion.

If your plant is only 5"--6" tall after over a month of growth, something is wrong.

With an HID light (HPS is best), the ballast plugs into the wall and the light plugs into the ballast.
You also need a socket/reflector for an HID.

The plants only start to flower when they are in the dark. Turn off all the lights and let them sit in a cool room for a few days.
