How does a straight guy find female online partners? I know there are sites dedicated to this but most if not all are bogus.
Regardless of what your intentions are, I believe it's very important to have a very good skill in conversation prior to interacting with anyone online. It means actually having conversations about all kinds of different topics with them, and usually it's a good idea to keep things casual and light in the beginning. Then once you both feel like you're a little bit more comfortable with each other, you can start incorporating some deep, personal matters into your conversations if you feel like it's safe to do so. It's the steps of getting to know someone. It takes time and patience, but when done right, you can find some really cool people, maybe even your romantic partner. In my case, I met my girlfriend on a particular online community where I basically chatted with her like I would with anyone else, and one day we just realized we've become a thing. Five years later, we're still happily together. Good luck.
Couldn't agree with your reply more. But my question was how to find online partners? There is so much bullshit out there. What really surprises me is the gay men posing as women. How pathetic. Having said that I am sure there are straight men whom pose as women at time. Equally pathetic.
I've always taken long enough time to get to know them, and made sure to take things to a level where we are both comfortable relocating our interaction outside the specific website. In other words, we would add each other on Facebook, Skype, share non-sexual everyday type photos(maybe featuring a special hand-written sign that says the other's name), video chat where we get to see each other's face, even voice chat, that sort of thing. Like I said, it takes way more time because it means you both need to develop the emotional comfort and trust in each other. But it's worth the effort. I think fakes tend to approach things in a bit different manner.
People online are regular people though usually bolder behind a keyboard and more open. Treat them with respect and honesty.
