Even in the case of someone devoted to a specific form like OlderWaterBrother would say I could believe you but for the fact that is not what the bible says. He was quite alarmed I might sound convincing and made it a habit of his to expose my evil spirit. Of course we see who remains.

don't listen to what others dictate, read the source material for yourself and make the determination.

You keep saying this Noxious, but you have no proof we single out Christianity to be biased against.

We are against ALL FORMS OF BRAINWASHING, be it religious indoctrination, government inquisitions or media lies.

They're all done for the same purpose.....controlling people's minds and actions.

Free your mind from MENTAL TYRANNY!

And yes, the ChriSTAIN religion has stained this planet with the blood of millions of innocents, just as Islam does today, all in the name of their Gods of "peace".

    When will they EVER learn?

Religions and governments and media propaganda all exist to divide us. To create enemies where none really exist. To spread fear and control the mass mindset.

Here's a question for Christain fundamentalists....

What are Christians taught to fear?

Let's see the list of imaginary fears you believe in as a child might believe in the Easter Bunny.

    I'll get you started.

Christains are taught to fear the following
    1. God
    2. Satan
    3. Sin
    4. Sinners
    5. Sex
    6. Death
    7. Hell
    8. Gays
    9. Prostititues
    10. Every other religion

Notice the intense focus on sex...

Having said that skip, and not accusing anyone, there is a preponderance of evidence that the christian experience in terms of some has been negative and it has become a traditional filing place for any further mention.

I am also against all forms of brainwashing, and it happens in all sectors from all directions and is not just the reserved for religion and politics.

Without wanting to get into a pissing match with you over this or get you pissed off, can you explain why quoting from the Bible is strictly forbidden, whereas in the Buddhist section there are literally entire works cut-n-pasted, as one example.
your "New Rules" sticky at the top of the Christianity forum makes it abundantly clear that quoting scripture, even in the Christianity section, will get you kicked out.

I understand your reasoning behind it as the site was targeted by zealots at one point in time, but it still is rather intimidating to a person who wishes to discuss the religion and appears very biased in nature.

you know how many times someone will say to me "prove it" regarding what the Bible actually states, and I have to respond "I can't, it's against site guidelines."
so even attempting any true Christian apologetics here is slanted from the very outset.

Because using the bible to prove that what the bible states is true is circular reasoning, illogical.

True christian apologetics, that's a laugh.

You need to PROVE it in YOUR OWN WORDS, or are you so tongue tied that you're incapable of doing anything other than parroting words from a book?

Plus we don't see Buddhists spamming from just one book like Christains do! Which book do Buddhists spam here? Shows how little you understand Buddhism.

If you want to publicize a book, like anyone else on the site, unless you wrote it yourself, you must take out a paid advertisement, otherwise it's just SPAM.

    Got it, Noxious?

Put your money where your mouth is or STFU.

You just did it with my quote, dope.

Now if we had a group of people who did nothing all day but quote ME and go around making a religion of it, going around to other websites and posting up quotes from me without any permission whatsoever, or any invitation to do so, in fact, with a TOS that forbids one to do such, how should people on those other sites feel?

IMO, anyone who only references ONE BOOK for 95% of their quotes really has a very limited education.

In fact, I've recently discussed the writings of an author whose books I'm reading now, Michio Kaku.

I never once quoted a passage, yet I was able to convey his "teaching" to others here just fine...

.If your topic is to communicate what you mean then to change the subject doesn't do it. I didn't change the subject, i asked for clarification of your thoughts. Thanks for trying..
