In Minnesota, you must follow these steps to become a medical cannabis patient:

    1. Get a certification from a licensed Minnesota physician: The physician must be licensed to practice in Minnesota and be registered with the Minnesota Medical Cannabis Program.
    2. Register with the Minnesota Medical Cannabis Program: You must create an account on the Minnesota Department of Health's medical cannabis patient registry and provide your physician's certification.
    3. Obtain a medical cannabis card: Once your registration is approved, you will receive your medical cannabis card, which you must present to purchase medical cannabis from a licensed dispensary.
Note: Minnesota law only allows the use of medical cannabis in the form of pills, liquids, and vapor. The sale and use of recreational cannabis are illegal in the state.

I had a certification here in Canada for a couple of years and a license to grow 15 plants for my own use
