well I don't have not college education like some on here. Although this is something I look forward to in the future. Anthropology would be of some interest. Now I have a friend who I met on the forum and me and him are planning to take of soon....very soon. We would like to get to the gathering. But it seems asking questions is the most hardist thing to do. g's. We are thinking of taking a bus then from there walking or something.

that's a good question and not that easy to answer these days. the world has gotten pretty rigidified since back in the 50's and 60's when people started to wander around in pursuit of the true meaning of life. the best thing for anybody to do who wants to live the nomadic life is start going to rainbow gatherings. also, you could check out this web-site, eco-nomads.org, i think it is. also woofing, (willing workers on organic farms)it's voluntary, no pay, but you live in a good environment and eat good food. it is a good thing if you don't mind working a normal job once in awhile, it can be a good way to move about. do a web search. the world is getting expensive. the new generation of wandering nomads needs to be creative. i definately recommend getting up to the rainbow gatherings in canada, there's one in quebec this summer and also the gatherings down in costa rica and mexico could be a really good place to learn some serious nomadic, rainbow survival skills. the bottom line is that the rainbow family of living light is an international, global phenomenon. it is a network of people all over the planet that are getting together and figuring out ways to live a happy creative life without selling our souls. just think what would we do without a soul? do a web search for, peace pilgrim, she walked across north america on foot seven times with no money, just a toothbrush and a pen to write letters and think she was just an ordinary gal! walk in peace
Steal This Book by Abbie Hoffman would be a good read. i haven't read it but i read the first few pages on amazon and the first part of the book talks about ways to get food and stuff for free.
when i get out of the god forsaken army (hopefully soon) I'm hitting the road again. I went for about seven months hoboing but it was not my thing, to much violence, as far as finding people the same, there are travelling nature children everywhere I have went. Its hard to find partners though. Thats the only thing. And if you can handle not having money and eating everyday and taking a shower everday you should be good. Just make sure you have a good pack, sleeping bag, shoes(preferably boots), a jacket, socks, underwear and a really good attitude.
