I am in same boat Gene . my wife won t take hormons or anything she had ruff time going threw change. refused to use lube says not puttting any thing inside her and no pills! scared of cancer//...your story lot like mine with wife

 

It's such a shame the media scared women out of taking HRT... it was proved that in most cases, it protects women from ostio porocis which they have more chance of getting.

 

I enjoy it more now in my early 40's then I did when I was younger. I think it also helps to know what you want out of life and coming to grips with what you're into

 

Thankfully my wife is OK with lubes although when we do not use she is fine we just have to take our time.

Yes - Prozac is not high on my list but considered for a short while to take the edge off. Most people want to increase libido and take stuff to help with erections. I have the opposite problem....

Apparently people's sex drive gets higher into old age.

 

This seems to be more likely for women than men...certainly true in our case. Viagra worked briefly for me and that was 5 years ago. My wife’s libido is on an upward trend and she dresses more provocatively but not much I can do with it.

Everyone is different. And men and women are different. Sex also changes as you age.
I am only 54, but unfortunately I have to take Atenolol, luckily I don't have impotence that can come with it, but it very much effects my stamina.
So I am not able to go at it hard for very long.... at all. I have to stop and catch my breath, which can lead to losing an erection, so then the concentration goes from the sex to getting the hard on back.
So that has changed how we have sex, we certainly enjoy what we do, but sometimes when highly aroused and I just want to bang the hell out of her - I cannot.

Thanks to the fact I take heart and diabetes meds, getting as hard or as often as I used to is damn near impossible. Getting and keeping erect is very exhausting. I too would love to be able to give her what I once could in the bedroom.

 

Your problems are why I bought a Venus 2000, the ole rooster just didn't want to crow anymore. That machine will suck you to being hard or milk you dry still soft it don't care. Maybe your wife would enjoy being at the controls it.

At 54, my drive hasn't change I don't think, one way or the other.
I think what you see, is disatisfied sex lives.
Once you have broke the 1000 mark, with the same person, you start looking around for something else. And by that I don't mean necessarily cheating, more like coming to a place like this and going nuts.
WIthout a doubt the average age of men on sex sites/cam2cam sites/sex forums are 45 and up...with most being the "up".
When you are young and banging different women, or even married and 3-4 years in or so - you are still getting good sex.

You're a lucky one. Seven years ago my wife stopped enjoying sex. Like you and your wife, we had a great sex life before that with each other and with other couples.
