I was turning 33 in september when my first was born in july, if i could i would have kids earlier for sure
I was 32 and Jane was 27 when we had our first of 3 at 6 year intervals. The stranger thing was that I was my mothers first, when she was 49, unusual back in the 1940s for a woman to give birth at that age. My father was 67. Both of his previous wives had died and I had a step sister who was the same age as my mother.
We’re both 38 and have only got round to tying quite recently. I wish we’d started earlier but we both had lots in life that we wanted to do before children came along. Hey ho, I’ll have to be one of cool older Dad stereotypes.
We got our dog when I was 71. Needless to say, he can run faster than me, Jane thought that he could beat him and I have just returned from the hospital. LOL
Our son was born 12 weeks ago when I was 35 and my wife 36. I always wanted to have all my kids (three or four) before I turned 30 since my dad was 41 when I was born and too tired to play with me after work. On the whole I'm glad I'm older because I'm far more mature and level headed than I was in my twenties.
... I got Married when I was just turned 18 because my seventeen year old girl friend was in the Pudding Club. My 18th Birthday was 3rd July and our daughter was born on 26th August, so just over a month later and we were wed. That cut it fine! That marriage lasted 13 years, so a big mistake as it happens!
37 for me and wife 32. In our opinion we had our kid at the right time as we have had chance to live a little before the disruption starts with all the new responsibilities that having children brings. Now we are at the other side and enjoying our lives again, despite the UK government trying to spoil things .
