How often do you think of your first love?

Probably fairly often but not really in a longing or nostalgic way. Just in a "oh that reminds me of that time" sort of way, with no real emotion attached to the memory

 

Have you ever thought about trying to reconnect?

 

I tried...she didn't want to talk. It has been 25 or so years so I don't blame her.

 

I've had lots of obsessive crushes, but I don't believe that was love. Then I had my girlfriend of seven years, but we weren't romantic, and I know that wasn't love. I think of all of these people quite often, though. Every time I get an obsessive crush I think I'm in love. I think I'm in love right now, in fact.

 

I dunno.. Every time i look at her I suppose.

 

This hurt me a bit.

Often enough. We still have feelings for each other and she still contacts me from time to time. But we must not kid ourselves. The connection isn't there anymore.

I wish it was.

 

For me its the only person I never got closure on . I still think of the good times but it is that long ago ( 1980) . Her father got a position down in the Midlands so it was a bit of a sudden move . So we never got chance to end it properly . Nowadays it would be a lot easier to keep in contact with the technology we have available .

 

Very rarely. I'm only thinking of her now because you asked. Of course, time is a factor (it's been 2+ decades).
