frumpy = dull, plain, or unfashionable

loose sweat shirt and jeans, hair back in a plain ponytail, reading glasses. (oddly enough, I think that look is hot) but dress to blend, not draw attention is basically what frumpy means. Dress like you imagine 'mom' would. No makeup, that kinda thing.

 

learn how to palm the weed in your pocket just in case they ask you to turn them out, happened to a friend of mine in school, go caught with a 10 but had about a 1/4 ounce on him

 

Don’t draw unwanted attention to yourself if you are smoking. Never smoke or have anything on you when you are driving. If you get busted, then you obvious were not being smart about it.

 

if your going to smoke in a car, carry the joint in your hand on the steering wheel, if you get pulld over, eat it. never bring mroe than you can smoke in the car, same song and dance.dont buy in broad daylight, or places that are high trafficked.

 

Good advice, worked with me a couple times. Well my tunnels arent big enough for baggies, but its saved my ass cuz I did like 2 E pills in there before n got searched by the cops outside a club. Got away though it was cool.

Now my tip.

I have this one belt where theres a zipper in it, and its saved my ass more than once before. Basically I always keep my drugs in there, and whenever a cop asks to search me, I always do so cooperatively. I empty my pockets, keep my cool, they pat me down, everythings cool, and they let me go.

Never be a dick to the cops. Even if you know that you will get away, being a dick to the cops will only make a simple thing turn complicated.

Funny story.
I was once smoking with these two girls, and we got caught and searched. The girls had the weed and it was found. The cop was going on some shit and one of the girls started crying like hell, saying her life was over and how her parents wont ever take her back now. The cop felt so bad for her he just stamped on the weed on the ground and let all of us go.

 

also I never wear sublime, bob marley, or any kind of weed-related t-shirt when I'm going to a party. Dont wear anything that screams "I'M A POTHEAD!".

Ex. State law:<25 grams is a misdemenor and tack on $100

Hi i'm new to thease fourms. I was wondering does any of the refuseing to be serched work if your a minor? Me and 2 friends where walking home I was 2 doors down from my house it was around 4am. a cop jumps out and tells us to sit on the curve and empty are pockets. I allready ditched my lighter I'm not even sure if there's anything against minors haveing lighters. But can anyone give me advice on something I could of said to stop this from happening? did my friends have to tell him there parents phone numbers? there are two questions to ask the cop in that situation

'Am I being detained?'

the second is 'What are the clear and articulable facts regarding this encounter?'

basically you're asking if your'e being charged with a crime, and what the officer's suspicions are. If asked, an officer has to give a clear 'yes' or 'no' answer to the detainment question, or risk his job on a 4th amendment violation. If you are NOT being detained, then say 'I decline to speak to you at this time. I've somewhere I have to be'

If you choose to speak with a cop, then it's consenting contact, which means anything you say that indicates illegal activity is the same as if you'd walked up to a cop and 'I'm committing a crime.' voluntarily confessed.

You are under NO obligation to talk to a LEO unless you're being detained, and in which case, if he says 'yes, I'm detaining you', you ask the 'clear and articulable facts' of the situation, and either way, no matter how vauge or detailed his 'assessment of the situation' is, your next comment should be 'I refuse to speak unless it's to a lawyer, and in the presence of my parents.'

The cop will usually try to browbeat or berate you, demanding that you talk to him. That 'I refuse to speak unless it's to a lawyer, in the presence of my parents' is your safety mantra. If he arrests you, from that point on, that is the ONLY thing you say until you have a lawyer and your parents. You are, in that case, continually reaffirming your 4th amendment rights against illegal search and seizure and your 5th amendment right against self-incrimination.

as a minor, if you 'don't' provide your parent's phone numbers, you can be considered a runaway, which is a pain in the ass. However, just because a cop says 'empty your pockets' doesn't mean you have to comply. The first question should be 'on what grounds? Am I being detained? Do I need a lawyer?'

That, immediately will back all but the most prickish cops off, and the prickish ones will find a way to run you in anyway, in which case, don't 'resist' but simply state repeatedly 'I refuse to speak unless a lawyer and my parents are present'

You don't have to give your name, address, phone number or any other information to a LEO unless you're being detained. You do not have to consent to contact, being searched, and as a matter of fact, if the officer continues to try and 'create' contact with you after you've refused to speak with him, and he's said you're not being detained, that is grounds for a harassment complaint, and harassment against a minor is a big no-no, especially if a sexual element is implied.

Tips For HotBoxing (clambaking) your automobile.


Never run the airconditioning or it will go the smoke will stay down in there (not good).

try to go in gated communities or drive around slowly through normal neighboorhoods. Driving around slowly will give the impression your just lost or just leaving the neighboor hood. Sitting out front someones random house will generally lead to someone calling the police if they see you.

Get your windows blacked out, never smoke with the windows down if your windows are up its much harder to think anyone is smoking in there.

If possible get one of those heat/sun metalic things you put under your windshield so no one can see you in the front.

When finished roll down windows all at once to get all smoke out. If someone is going to see you with all the smoke comming out at least get it out while you can not just partially!

Depending on how much you smoke the marijuana smoke should only set in your clothes for about 20-30 minutes and will ware off so dont worry about hotboxing if youve got an hour to kill.

Try to have everything pre loaded before you get in the car.
(ice for the ice catcher) your bowl loaded, water in the bong/bubbler, eyedrops and lighter out and working, and enough gas to not have to visit a gas station.

I'm sorry but after taking enough law classes... you do NOT want to consent to a search. If you're pulled over for speeding, no turn signal, etc, etc, any small time traffic violation like that do NOT consent to a search. If you do not consent and they search your car anyways they cannot hold you liable for whats in your car. If you DO consent to a search and they do search, I've had my car searched twice now, once with just an officer doing a very thorough search and another with a K9.

 

Best way not to get busted is to not carry

I disagree with monstermann68 on all accounts, and I agree with Melvndo. I have on three accounts had police ask me if they could search my car.

The first time was about 12 years ago and they tore my truck apart. I got caught going 68 in a 45. Not really that fast considering that it was really late at night and there was no traffic. But they thought, "It's late, he must be drunk." Well I had just gotten laid, so I was well amped up on testosterone and I was like 18 years old. And again, there was no traffic, cause it was late, I was just a happy boy. So, no they didn't find nothing, but they took their time doing it. So there I am at the side of the road saying, alright already just gimme my speeding ticket and lemme go. But they took at least an hour. Good thing I got the truck brand new, because if I had got the truck used, and the previous owner had done anything nasty these asshole woulda found the evidence.

Second time I got caught was after I bought that nice ounce in Asheville. I was stupid and was tearing up I-40 in the mountains East of Asheville. I was coming out of a curve with my transmission in 3rd, my engine screaming, and my foot plastered to the floor. I was accelerating rapidly when I saw the cop with his radar on me. He clocked me at 72 in a 55. But if he had been only a little farther down the highway, surely he could have caught me going in the 80's or 90's. I only got a warning. Even though I had an ounce in the back of my truck and he had a dog in the back of his car, he must have been called of to something more urgent, because he gave me that hurried "Please slow down, sir" speech. Then he jumped in his 400 HP ford and flew off at a speed that my Nissan could not have kept up with.

Third time was the one time that I could have gotten in massive trouble for my driving. Because I was not sober. I was not drinking in the car, but I had a pint bottle of rum in my backpack in the back seat of my car. I had drunk 2 pints of beer at a restaurant, and while trying to find my way back to the interstate I made an illegal U turn on Patton Avenue in Asheville. Stupid move, but I wasn't thinking and there were no cars coming, I looked, so there was no danger. Anyways, I still got a fat ticket for the illegal U-turn. And the cop wanted to search my car. I knew that I had drunk 2 pints, and I knew that there was a half empty pint of rum that I had drunk the night before in the bag in the backseat of my car. So that would not look good. So I told the cop that I was anxious to get home because I was really hungry and I just wanted to have a sit down and relax. The cop looked at me like he knew what I was thinking, but what could he do? I was probably over the limit, but they only pulled me over because I made that stupid illegal U-turn while I was in a place I didn't know. But the U-turn was not dangerous because it was so late and there was no traffic. So Anyways, I went home as quickly and safely as I could.

Basic point of my stories is, don't let the cops search your car. We can not allow the cops to have more rights than they have already.

 

I honestly haven't ever read any legal document stating it was illegal to be high in public, but rather that you cannot be seen smoking, or have it on you. Supposedly from a legal standpoint I could be blazed as a person can be and still not get canned for it assuming I have NOTHING on me anywhere.
