I'd much rather pay to somehow see ELP play the song instead of going to the actual damn show.

Oh how I hate that song.

 

the only reason i would go to that show was if the only alternative was to actually attend an ELP concert.

 

maybe once or twice a year i go to a movie. at least once, maybe twice, a year i'll go to a furry, anime, science fiction or model railroad convention.
i might go to a music festival if i didn't have to travel very far to get to it. at any rate these are about the only things i'm likely to pay to get in.
i'll go to indiginous big times sometimes too, but those don't usually charge anything.
i have been to musical performances that were within conventions i was at,
the filk sing bardic circles at sciffy cons, fox amore at blfc, that sort of thing.
i think i've been to maybe two rock music performances in my life,
and one orchestral. plenty of free music in the park and at renfaires, that sort of thing.
oh and i guess i have paid to get in to ren faires. i'd almost forgotten about that, because its been several years.
and then there were free perfomances on college campuses i've been to,
though that was years ago; cat stevens and buffey st marie.
and free performances at on campus earth day celebrations,
mikaile and the little band, that sort of thing.
