how much weed do you REALLY need?

I wonder how much weed has been smoked altogether by everyone ever.
I also wonder how much weed I've smoked ever
how much weed it takes to supply my city total per day/week/etc.
how much weed i've wasted by dropping on the floor or whatever.

cigs
beer
gasoline
toilet paper
food
hair length
toothpaste

all of these things are interesting to think about how much a lifetime of accumulated use was added up to.

Imagine when you are born, and you are allotted everything you will need to consume over your entire lifetime. food, drugs, clothes, toiletries, a giant battery/capacitor that holds all the electricity you will need. Except everything is in your own little warehouse or perhaps MASSIVE warehouse.. I wonder how big that warehouse would be and how all the things would look in proportion to each other.

It would be cool to walk down the street and buy a big ass bag of weed to last the rest of yoru life.. you buy it once and then never have to fuck with it again because you will always have it.

 

I like variety and be able to buy it when I feel like it. No point in having kilo's of weed laying around (unless you're a dealer)

 

but of course your massive stash would be many different kinds

 

if you smoked an average of 2 grams of weed per day, every day since the day you were born and lived to 100 and ur last breath was a breath of weed smoke you would need 73 kilograms of weed. sometimes you might smoke more and there might be periods that you smoke less or not at all so it would average out.

realistically 2 grams a day isn't going to be enough if you smoke every day because of tolerance if you never took breaks at all but I would think a metric ton of weed would probably be enough.

this wouldn't take up as much space as you would think and could probably fit on a single shipping pallet.

the beer would be a different story, judging by the volume of malt liquor bottles that sometimes fill my recycling bin, and basing the estimate on 3 40's a week (sometimes much more than that, but there are significant periods where i don't drink, and this estimate is still probably way too high) I would need approximately 13,000 40's and without doing any crazy math to calculate volume i estimate that it would take anywhere from 2-3 large storage units stacked to the ceiling to hold the beer i would need.

hair length: if you lived to 100 assuming 30 day months and a hair growth rate of 1/2 inch per month your hair would grow to approximately 50 feet, a little less than half of it would be white, and the ends would be your natural hair color. I do believe hair only grows to a certain maximum length tho before the hairs fall out, and even if not, I would think the hair would eventually break off and this would keep it from getting too long.

For the battery: Assuming an average electricity usage of 10kWh/d you would need a battery capable of storing 365,000 kWh. I am going to pick a lithium ion battery on the higher end of the energy density range of 700 Wh/L the battery would take up 521,428 liters which would be a cube 685 meters on each side (i hope i did my math right cuz that seems like a really fuckin huge battery)

I only NEED it after I've been smoking every day for a while. Better to smoke once a week in my opinion unless you need it as a medicine but some people think they need it when the problem is tolerance and withdraw symptoms.
