How much to tip a bellhop or attendant in hotel

Generally, How much to tip a bellhop or attendant in hotel in Germany? Do you need to tip for the room services too? For example, you request something like a towel or replacing the bed sheet.

 

I want to tip staff with a solid gold coin with my logo on it.

 

If you are nice you can tip for services but you don't have to. In fact I would not.

 

Most people won't tip nowadays right? I haven't been to Germany before

Germany is lovely so I hear. Berlin has a chocolate factory.

 

No we tip in germany, 10% but not.for a fresh towel, more for like a meal, or a bar tab.

 

I guess that the tipping the bellhop thing is new.

 

if you're asking them to clean up after you bring a hooker to your room, it seems to me like they deserve a nice tip.

 

It's good to be nice to them.

I suspect that often they receive low wages, so the tip really means something to them.

 

Unlikely, we're paid pretty good here.
