How much snow did everyone get. We are in the highest area here (in my state that is) with 18 inches so far and another 4-6 coming soon.. so should be 22-24 by the time it's all said and done.
Just got in from plowing for the second time...over 12 inches so far, I didn't check. Still coming down, although lighter now.
That's good. We are waiting for the second part of the storm to come through...should be soon... Yea... I believe it. You don't live too far from me (I'm in southern York county.. not far from the MD line)...when I looked outside round 9 am I thought "def over 12 inches" and then my mom measured 17 inches (she lives a mile away) and we measured 18.... I know the people east of the I 95 line got switched to rain but over here it's been all snow (like up north by H-Burg and Hershey) but heavier around this area too... when you say it's still coming down up there do you mean from the first part of storm or second? We are still waiting for second but should be soon.... D works at UNFI... which is up 83-in between York and Harrisburg...he's gonna be calling off tonight... he hasn't called off for any of the storms this season yet and may get a point (ridiculous with about 2 feet. grr.) but anyways, the back roads around here aren't good and news is saying when second part of storm (here) is heaviest (4-10 pm I think), there will be lots of wind gusts and stuff... so yea, glad he's not gonna be dealing with that. I know they have banned many kinds of tractor trailors temporarily from both I-83 and I-81.
10 inches and an ice storm on top of the snow. Not prepared in Eugene for it. It's finally gone. The Oregon rain washed it away.
I like snow. I just don't like how this winter has been here.... two or three times a week getting 4-7 inches of snow. Not enough to shut anything down, just enough to be damn annoying. But this almost two feet is much nicer. I like big snow storms.
We got a couple of inches on Monday night I think it was. Somehow we've lucked out and only gotten a few inches each time a snow storm has rolled through. I'm sorry for all of you getting slammed with it right now. We had 13 consecutive days with below 0 temps. It's finally 40 degrees today and you would think it's 80. I've been out without a coat a few times today and even turned the heat off in my car because I got so hot. it's crazy that 40 can feel like such a heat wave.
8 inches. It was the biggest snow storm here since 1993. We would have had more but we had some freezing rain yesterday that compacted it down.
Don't know what we got up here in Central PA, I never did measure. Only had to plow twice, got above freezing so snow I missed melted off the black top. Township got the road clear. I had to remove some snow from our pergola as it appeared to be sagging in the middle. We're supposed to get another 2 to 3 to 4 inches tonight. Who cares as long as the power stays on. It's very pretty. Couple deer out back , may have to plow about 6:00 AM to get out. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CH2KGboA35c"]WHITE CHRISTMAS :SNOW - YouTube
