This is the question I was referring to. I will pose it again.

What supposedly happened (according to you, all-knowing one) in the MKULTRA and Projet Paperclip operations, other than the advancement of mind control technologies, and the repatriation of Nazi scientists to the United States, respectively?

I hope this remedies your confusion, and you will actually be able to answer the question this time.

not true sexually assualted children will repress the memories. At later points in life they can suddenly remember them to much psychological dismay

Hiptastic is one of the guys from the 'Screw Loose Change' website. He is all over the net trolling internet forums. Therefore I say he is either mentally ill or working for somebody and probably being paid quite well. Either way he is to be ignored.

Yeah, ive been considering putting him on my ignore list. I want to see if he answers our question first though, because I always are him accusing you and X of making claims and not backing them up.

    I can't stand hypocrisy.

That has indeed remedied my confusion Drew. Here's what I was objecting to.
    This I do not believe.
    This either.

In general I don't believe mind control actually works. I think these experiments were failures and the people conducting them were quacks. Many people were harmed for nothing, it was a crime.

The really useful people from Paperclip were the rocket scientists and nuclear physicists.

I am not "one of the guys" from SL, I am "one of the guys" from Hipforums. I used to post there, long after I joined here, and then I gave up on it when it became a constant hatefest and plus 911 conspiracies have kind of jumped the shark. I haven't posted there in a long while.

And what is so mysterious about this? You are trying to suggest that there is something extremely suspicious about somone who participates in more than one forum. Why? Have you never posted on any other forums or blogs anywhere?
    Lie.
You see rat, that is trolling. That is personal attacks that violate forum guidelines. But its OK when you do it, isn't it?

I also post at hurryupharry as Mr. Danger (since you seem to want to stalk me on the web) a blog where i have found myself arguing against its pro Israel bias. That doesn't fit your conspiracy theory too well does it?

"recovered" memories of traumatic events and "remembering" are two completely different things. Furthermore, everything you "remember" is reconstructed and rarely 100% accurate. So no, you don't "recover" memories in the way that is implied by the term "recovered memories". You may forget what you ate for breakfast and remember it later, but you don't forget that you were tortured (but have the memory repressed deep inside your unconscious mind) and then suddenly remember one day - "oh, I was tortured for years as a teenager." Doesn't happen. End of story.

This has all been dismissed as complete sham. It is usually the so-called therapist, hypnotist, etc., who "recovers" the memory. Not the individual. You're pretty much stuck on all the hysteria of recovered memories that happened in the early 90s (and was later DISPROVED - unfortunately, the damage has been done as everyday folk actually still believe it's true). There is no such thing as repressed memories of traumatic events. I'm sure many whole-heartedly still believe it happens... but it just ain't so.

If interested, for more information about this read into studies done by Elizabeth Loftus at U.C. Berkley. Simultaneously sums up what I'm talking about and undermines the way our current judicial system operates (as our judicial system relies heavily on eyewitness testimony).

So basically, when I read about a guy who says he recovered a memory that he was tortured within the organizations, I know that at least THAT part is complete bullshit. I know nothing more about it though, so can't comment on the rest. Poor guy may actually believe it himself. But nope, memory doesn't work that way.

you see, this statement says much more about you, your programming, and your weaknesses than it does about educate-yourself.org.
I find it funny that you automatically resort to proverbs and attacking the messenger, but not the message.

I think I know why, but let me ask you...why is that?

I'm genuinely interested in the human psyche and would like you to present your rebuttal for the matter at hand, if possible?

You might test your bullshit detectors on some of this info.
As a child I was sexually assaulted on several occasions. The dirty perp informed me if I ever told anyone he would have to kill them. This was very traumatic and I didn't have full conscious recall of the events until I was an adult. From personal experience I can tell you that repression of memories does happen, I lived through it. For myself it's not to much of a stretch to think people could be programmed by repeatedly tramitizing them. That is my own humble opinion though.
Twenty years ago I met a very interesting individual who made some very amazing claims.A cure for cancer has existed for years, UFO's are real and our government has proof. We have technology that allows us to effect and control the weather, I actually saw a rainmaker, no need for draught to ever effect crops. last but not least a VW beatle converted to run on water. Holy Sheeite!! why is there war? why are people still starving? why is my electic bill so high? Conspiracy? I don't know but it makes me wonder. chaz

i've seriously wondered about this, because the first language i ever spoke in school was French, at age 4. i already spoke English, and read English newspapers, but because i was so young, the only school that i could go to was a local parochial school, and it was total immersion in freezing cold water! (Been there, done that, too ~ as a kid, one of my earliest memories, my folks putting me into a bathtub full of cold water and ice cubes because i had a fever that got too high ~ talk about a shock to your system... <sigh>)

Anyway, check this out, beginning on page 216 ~ "The Comeback of a Forgotten Language":
