I think I have been bare footing most of the time for 10 years.

Bought the last pair of sneakers about 2 years ago now. Little use they dont wear out.

If I remember correctly I used to wreck them pretty quick but can't remember how many pairs I bought each year.

    Lets do a search,

US-based consumers bought the most shoes per capita in 2013, according to a report by the American Apparel & Footwear Association (AAFA). Each individual (children are included) bought 7 ½ pairs of shoes.

"This is more than any other country in the world," said AAFA CEO Juanita Duggan.

Footwear - US consumers bought 7.5 pairs of shoes per capita per year - APLF.com

Didn't by that many maybe 3 pair a year cant remember.
